Loving what is good is not about loving morals. It's not about the pursuit of doing right over wrong. It's not about being on the side of good instead of evil in some fantasy story. It's all about God. His goodness and his good news. And being good is not just about choosing to do good deeds. It's about God's character shaping ours. It's about his goodness and good news making us good through Jesus Christ. It's about godly character given to us in grace. Any ministry we do or change we make or good we seek can only be achieved through the gospel of our good God.
