I have always been fascinated by this truth, all men are created in God’s image, after his likeness.
It doesn’t matter where we come from, what side of the railroad tracks we were born. it doesn’t matter our ethnic background. Every last one of us were created by God and God deposited himself in all of us.
It doesn’t matter where we come from, what side of the railroad tracks we were born.
it doesn’t matter our ethnic background.
Every last one of us were created by God and God deposited his image; his likeness in all of us. All of us have a connection with God mentally, morally and socially.
This is why all life matters because all lives are valuable to God.
This is why all life matters because all lives are valuable to God.
We are here today to say farewell to Kieah a son, a father, a brother, a nephew, a cousin whose life was valuable to God.
Sometimes because of how we live or because of the hand life deals us we can began to question if we really are valuable to someone.
Parable of the prodigal son.
The was always a connection between the father and the one he gave life to.The son was valuable.
So, all men are created in God’s image, after his likeness.
In the simplest terms this means we were made to resemble God.When Kieah’s mother was sharing with me somethings about Kieah.I thought Lord Kieah resemble you in a way that most of us really appreaciate.
He loved his family.
Many of you experienced his love covering you, taking up for you, protecting you, being there for you.
Anyone experience God’s love covering you, taking up for you, protecting you, being there for you.
He knew how to fix things.
He knew how to take things apart and put them back together again.
Some of you experience Kieah skills at work fixing some stuff you broke or just broke down.
Some of you experience Kieah skills at work fixing some stuff you broke or just broke down.Isn’t that like God fix relationships, fix problems.
Isn’t that like God fix relationships, fix problems.
He cared enough about his neighbors to help clean and take care of their lawns.
Some want take care of their own lawns let alone someone else’s lawn.but because he cared.
This is way I love this passage because it doesn’t matter how hard or rough the exterior the interior can still resemble an image and likeness of God.
So the next time you started thinking your life doesn’t count or that you are not as important you need to remember God created you in his image and his likeness
Like Kieah, there is something good God has put inside of you so that others might experience God’s touch through your life.
That’s why we can come today and say thank you Lord for the life of Kieah.
