Hope In a Good God

Jeremiah 33:14–16 NLT

14 “The day will come, says the Lord, when I will do for Israel and Judah all the good things I have promised them. 15 “In those days and at that time I will raise up a righteous descendant from King David’s line. He will do what is just and right throughout the land. 16 In that day Judah will be saved, and Jerusalem will live in safety. And this will be its name: ‘The Lord Is Our Righteousness.’

God will do what is right, good, and what he has promised. All who have hope in the Lord for their salvation will not be disappointed. God is and will complete the plans he has for his people.

Hope in God the Father is also hope in God the Son and the Holy Spirit. God is three in one. He has shown us his love in the Son of God being born in flesh to die for the sin of the world. The Son of God is the righteous descendant from King David’s line. Jesus, the Son of God, saves us. He is the righteous one.

Think of How God has been good to you.

Think on the righteousness of Jesus and how he is holy.

Think of how you can respond to the Lord who is righteous.

What can you do to show your worship to God?
