WHY JESUS?

I Love Christmas, I love getting gifts especially when its in a size 9 1/2. I never really believed that old saying it’s the thought that counts…Cause some gifts was not thought at all! Have you ever got a gift that you needed but don’t want…like a new mop, or a vacuum, That is the last thing I was to see when I get up Christmas morning! In this new series we are going to talk about the gift that everyone needs but don’t necessary want or they don’t know that they need it.

16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

We all love getting gifts but as you get older you love giving them. Nothing excites me more then to see the eyes of my little ones light up when they first see that gift. Christmas has become so Commercial that we really have forgotten what it is all about. That is the Greatest gift we have ever recieved. Eternal life.
Romans 6:22–23 NKJV
But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Eternal Life Is A Gift From God. – “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”. Eternal life is only found in Jesus Christ.
22 But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Eternal life is only found in Jesus Christ.
The Gospel give us a good look into the birth of Christ The gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke are referred to specifically as the Synoptic Gospels because they include many of the same stories, often in the same sequence, and similar wording. They back each other up.
But when Join begins his gospel he begins with the significance of the birth of Jesus. He doesn’t go over genealogies but he says this in the first Chapter
John 1:1–5 NKJV
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
