Great 59th birthday on Friday
Being out with the family for a slap up meal in the evening and what makes even better is that we were not paying!
Saturday
Football with my oldest son on Saturday with a win to boot
Sunday
Day spent with Liz - Time together
Staying in a hotel overnight
All these things combine together to make a great weekend.
Then all of a sudden from this perfect moment things change.
Sudden excruciating pains in the back going up into the shoulder and round into the chest stopping my breathing resulting in
Hospitalisation on Sunday evening,
Hospitalisation on Sunday evening,
Further examination Tuesday revealing I had suffered a pulmonary embolism
That I had been lucky that my situation had not been worse
Being told I would now need to be on medication for life
Being told I would now need to be on medication for life
Life seems to throw us a curveball at times and the circumstances we face almost seem to overwhelm us.

These things are not things that you would think would produce thankfulness.
and most of all thankfulness and this in turn can effect our relationship with God and ultimately the way in which we present our lives to Him as an act of worship.
Our lives will often go through difficult circumstances which can so easily rob us of our joy, peace, and most of all thankfulness and this in turn can effect our relationship with God and ultimately the way in which we present our lives to Him as an act of worship.
