The Holy Spirit’s work and fruit includes the characteristic of love

| 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

23 hgentleness, iself-control; jagainst such things there is no law.

And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied.

The Holy Spirit enables believers to live with one another in love

| 2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love,

| So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being jof the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind.

The gift of the Holy Spirit results in practical love

32 Now the full number of those who believed were of kone heart and soul, and no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own, but they had everything in common.

33 And with great power the apostles were giving their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all.

34 There was not a needy person among them, for as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold 35 and laid it at the apostles’ feet, and sit was distributed to each as any had need.
