I bring you greetings from the Mount Vernon Seventh-day Adventist Church. That's a pastor and a very full ministry there like you we are striving to try and make it to the kingdom and to bring Souls with us. I'm really happy to be here today. I'm always happy to proclaim the word of God because when I proclaim the word of God, it makes me forget my problems. I'm very serious. I asked God to give me time to speak on his behalf. So that with the things that I go through in my life don't seem that so significant because when you start talkin about Jesus, it changes everything about your perspective on life.

The music has been out of this world today for me. Not only the praise team in the other but gentleman you took me back to a long time ago probably longer than you want to remember. But you know if I have to do a crusade I miss you. I'm going to call for y'all because I remember those days when eating Cleveland and my pastor Pastor Bradford at the Tabernacle at the time, we do the Crusades on 168th Street and different places that goal in Saunders would do his and there was always a quartet. Quartet and it pulled everybody in that quartet that simple Harmony the harmony that we usually there wasn't any a complement of whatever that just singing acapella if they sang Outta tune they got back into if they don't do it, right they looked at each other gave each other looking thing. It was a beautiful thing and you know, the thing I liked about the most is that It was Joy.

I took some young people down Two Times Square two weeks ago. I had not been down to Times Square to tell you the honest truth. I say in about 20 years. Cuz I lose like you all up in the country. I was living in Peekskill for a while. Now. I'm actually not the not in the country of you anymore sort of half. They think that they're a big city, but they're not cuz I live in Stamford now, Connecticut, but after being in New York every city is small. anyway Driving down there. Actually, you know the phrase blew my mind. I went down there and first of all the car moves like this.

To get one block. It's about 10 minutes. But more impressive to me impressive to me in a negative way with the amount of people that were down there. The people couldn't move it wasn't if you wanted to turn and go one way you couldn't do it. You just moved in a mop but a quiet mom, but this the thing that was incredible to me was that all the lights are down there now? It's lit up. But even though it was lit up the faces of the people look so dark. There was no excitement. You would think and I know most of the people down there at this time of the year there Taurus and you can tell the truth you how you can tell Victorious. This is how they walk.

Are they walk right three people walked into my car? Thank goodness. I wasn't going fast, but they just walked it. So have earphones on it is a different world. There's a lot of people come to church and then just come to church and after church is over. Nothing has changed.

But I have to open up our minds to things that sometimes we don't want to see anymore because in today's world sometimes and I know music pretty well part of my life since a baby right at your table is great, but entertainment is a way to take your mind away sometime for what you really all about. We know everything about LeBron James and by the way, he does a lot of good things in his community. He really built up schools and different things that he's done. But everybody watches him they watches the guy's what's the shoes that he has on the sneakers or the Michael Jordan? I was a Michael Jordan fan. greatest of all time Sorry, you young people that think that that's not you. Y'all just don't know. Greatest of all time I have my nephew came to my house and he was going to be old Uncle you don't know about Michael I said, can you go in my room back there and go look that bookshelf. He was because I just moved and I had to throw some of those magazines out and I oh I know what it is. When you really giving your heart to Jesus. You have to let go of things cuz I had so many magazines just to throw out. All right, because I had every magazine that was ever written about Michael Jordan. That's I mean, I'm an expert on him, right and the thing about it was that when I thought about that I said, you know when Jesus comes we have to let go of everything. What we give our heart to Jesus we let go of a lot of things and all those people that we think are so important then not going to be that important anymore because they got making it to the king of the same way. I have to make it into the kingdom. LeBron has to make it into the kingdom juice on Mike. Let's make it a true Jesus basketball resume.

Not knowing what's going to go on not understanding but let's understand something very important.

First of all. Doesn't Force us to love him.

At the beginning of this outrageous is a chapter called God With Us. powerful brings tears to my eyes because God in his infinite power with his son knew that there was going to be a problem in the universe.

He doesn't treat didn't create evil when he always created the power-of-choice young people. This is this is very important. The power-of-choice. I told my students all the time. You have the power to be a genius or you have a power to be a dumb dumb. Cuz everyone has some genius in them. It may not be the same thing. But there is genius in everyone. There's something that someone can do very well that I can't do well with this something that I could do. Well that they can't do well at each one of you have a purpose for being on this Earth. And if anyone be at your parents your pastor your best friend, I don't care who it is. If they tell you your good-for-nothing. They are a demon.

I'm going to say it again because God created you to be on this Earth to do something special. So no one has the right to tell you that you are no one that you're nobody and there's too many people that will put that foolishness into your head and you start to absorbent to believe it and that's why a lot of time young people don't do as well as they could because they have been beaten down so much. I'm not only young people older people to Goes on the other side of you don't knock the old people cuz they can't run as fast as you anymore because they have a wisdom in here that come from living life. This should be that Unity that you have to talk to each other. You don't is a history especially back in the DayZ all if you go all the way back to Africa, how was the message carried from one generation? They didn't have any computers was done by word of mouth and it wasn't just enough. It was all over the world. That's how people communicated because they have any other way from you. So someone told the story is usually with a grandma or Grandpa. They told you how they were before they can tell you who married who etc etc. That was how people communicated but there is a baby that was created by God perfect and always and it talks about the news he could he was perfect on the always-on till iniquity was found in his heart and iniquity is rebellion. Listen to that carefully, it's Rebellion with people start to say I don't need an instruction. I don't need to listen to anybody. I can do it all by myself. And the funny thing is how can you tell the person that created you what to do?

You ever think about that? How can you tell the person you know, we have the same thing at the college's now where the students go in and they want to tell the professor's what curriculum they want.

You don't know you go you go down to open and go someplace else when I say go in there and you go and sit in the classes, whatever the professor said was what you had to take out a few challenged. You have to do it in a very very polite way usually in his office or office and have a discussion that sometimes you may even bring out a point that Professor didn't know my students would all the time then they didn't know most of the time I'm acting like I didn't see that so they could find it for them self. And by the way, that's a very important thing. You can just feed you things out people's mouth. Sometimes they have to learn it for themselves. And by the way, that's why when we get to the end part we going to talk about how important it is. You can't see people Jesus. They got to know Jesus for themselves.

They probably know the experience from shopping and experience in Jesus. Not just making them come to church and forcing them to sit and then they go home and they they see that you don't have any experience at home agency that experience just happening in church, you know that happy Sabbath. Happy Sabbath.

I really can't stand this lady but I got to say happy Sabbath to her voice. I don't know her but sometimes that's what's going on in the mind. Are the children by the way watch you and then you expect the children to behave good. It's like it's like when you tell the child don't lie and the child is at home and the child picks up the phone and they say it's the bill collector for the telephone and you say

So the message has been learned. The message has been learned the wrong way you young people know you have teachers that you love and you know the teachers you can get over on the teachers. You can get over under usually the nicer ones the ones who take no foolishness, you'll say he's menu, but he's a good teacher. All right, because you can't get over on them. But you play them and that's so sweet to you. Neither of you have done well because the teacher isn't doing their job and let her ruin a life. We're living in a world where the devil has taken over and I said, he was perfect till iniquity was in his heart iniquity is rebellion iniquity is the is the seat he deceived Eve Eve from the beginning and he's been doing it. So well, he's an expert is almost over 6,000 years of experience. He has he was there when you were created he looked over God shoulder. He knows how every part of your body works. In fact in the book Desire of Ages says that in the last days one of the things hold onto your hats.

That the devil has done he has taken over the bodies of people and he Now controls their organs. Did you hear what I said? Some of the things that people are saying that while I was born that way set except me about blah blah. It's not that we are born in sin and shapen in iniquity. So it doesn't bother me because we don't know what has going on in their mind doesn't know what has going on that body. I mean, there's certain things that go on the doctors will tell you now, they can do surgery inside the womb

operate on the fetus 20 years ago. No one was ever think of that ever could happen. Right things can happen without yes, having a psychic trauma happen inside an emotional trauma happened that no one knows and yes, you come out a little different but then this thing will best the natural enough we're born in sin and shapen in iniquity and the devil knows what he can do to one or he can do to another so this craziness now that we have that everybody that comes in. However, they are they can't help it they can't help it because God can do what we can't do by ourselves. Let me put this straight don't get it twisted. It doesn't mean that you are the judge in the final arbitrator of who that person is. It doesn't mean that you don't love that person. No matter what their problem is because by you love them. They see Jesus. What loving them means that you have to teach them, right?

But also give them time to get it together.

In the fullness of time God came into the world. In the book the side races. It says that during that time before Jesus was born the world was just messed up. They said you can see the evil in the people's faces. Not turn to your neighbor.

Whitney in in in when she was in the church or musician starting to church and sometimes we praise them too much and they think they could become a big star we send them out because we don't praise God enough when they sing We Praise them and after a while, I've been that I know what I'm talking about. I've been there. I know what I'm talking about how you really was so good and blah blah blah and you can go anywhere blah blah, but I have been all over this world. But sometimes what they said was the wrong thing, that's why I try to remember. Thank the Lord for how God is using you because you know what God can use you and you still could be lost.

Judas was a disciple Judas went out and did it all things that all the disciples did he went preached. He healed the sick. He did everything that Jesus told the disciples to do he did but he's lost.

Peter was there. He's not lost. But when Peter was the disciple Jesus had to rebuke him and said Satan has decided to 62 s with that sweet, but you know what I prayed for you and here's the thing you said and when you walk converted, so he was with Jesus with three years and he wasn't converted. So that's what we have to understand. You could be sitting in the church all the time. I'm not converter because the environment that you're in is an environment and I'll talk about in your head. How do you come into that church when you get into the church in your head, what is it all about? Is it all about you? Are you coming to worship him or do you want everybody to see how your dress or how you walk or how you talk or are you sing? Whatever it what is it all about when you come to church.

Because Jesus knows and that's why a lot of people but they think that uses postage to save them. He's going to say, I don't know who you are.

Because in the in the in the experience, you never really wanted a relationship with me. You wanted to be all about you. Doesn't matter. I can try not to bring any any resumes when I have to speak because it's not about me. You don't know me what's inside of my head. I can look good. I do look good, but that's alright. Alright, I could do a whole bunch of things. But it doesn't mean I am saved. All it means is that he can use me and let me show some Whitney Whitney sang of the church. Let me go back to my teaching experience when I have a student. I've done many things not just teach but as a demon in different ways, they have to deal with behavioral kids and everything. I went they mess up. There is some children never say this is bad and you should talk to them you can work with them. And then there's the other one say when it was her. She didn't do nothing. And the worst thing you have is two best friends that did something wrong and then you separated that's what they going to do. It was his fault nor was his fault. They never say I did it they will get the other person in trouble so fast, you won't believe it. But the point I'm trying to make is that there are some people in the class that one person goes back and you can see Improvement. You can see that they're trying to do the best thing the other one goes back and guess what he does he tries to make the class. in trouble cuz he knows he did something he and the way he feels and I will get punished anyway, so everybody get punished. Well Lucifer was the light-bearer in heaven. He saw the glory of God, but all the glory that was around him and all the jewelry is Sparkles because of God. And she got confused and thought it was coming from himself. So when he found out the Jesus was incarnate Son of God and God and equal to be God. And by the way, isn't that funny Jesus was equal to God and still he came down here and became a lowly human being Philippians 2:5, he says he's stupid is he stupid? He said he made himself of no reputation. I took on the form of a servant. who's supposed to know I will I will rise I will be like the most high I I I I I I I I

bottom line is Lucifer knows he lost you see because in the fullness of time. Jesus came. And he lived on this Earth for 33 and a half and a third year and then he died on the cross and when he died and when he said it is finished Lucifer said I'm done. Because you don't think Lucifer Through the Bible prophecies. He was doing everything in his power with Jesus to say I'm not going to die. He almost pushed Jesus to the edge because when he wants In The Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus said Lord, if it's possible, please let this cup from the past from me cuz Jesus was human. And here's another point of view to make just because you were Christian doesn't mean that you're not going to go through terrible things.

You will have your job experiences. I trust me. I know what you'll just say. Why is this happening to me? I don't understand why this is happening to me what the difference between the Christian that knows Jesus and the Christian that doesn't know Jesus one will check the Judas path and go run out and kill themself. Spiritually. The other one will be like Peter and say I messed up a Lord. I'm holding on to you because you're sad you said you said when you walk converter, so that that means this hope for me no matter what the situation is that I'm in there is hope for me and young people you need to understand even when you go to class and you failed a test you can pass the next test. But it means that you have to go home and do your homework and study. It means that you have to now change your attitude attitude has to be changed as to what can happen to you in your life that you can do things that no one told you ever could do. So Lucifer knows he lost and just like that kid in the class who decides that I'm going to get as many people as you in trouble as I can so they can suffer with me. That is simply simply what Lucifer is not Lucifer Satan now because now his name is Chad not the light. But the deceiver of the brethren. That's what he does. So he takes all this Talent all these talented people who have given their best years to him. And then they start to fall apart. When I read about Whitney. What are one of the greatest voices you're ever heard? I never she sent her the ground Grammys and she said one moment in time and you know, I played it for my students many times per singing that performance and she said one day. I love you and I want to live the best to make people see the best in me. I just came to my eyes and look what happened. She's singing the song about I want to be at a point where people see good in me and see how well and the last memory is that this lady probably committed suicide or died of a drug overdose drought in the old top of the seems like it was it was more to the story. But Satan said, I'm done with you Whitney. I don't care.

I don't care. It's like the basketball coach by the way or the football coach of the star who is doing real well, and then all of a sudden he or she enters them self. as a bear the police or whatever you want to call it that pay then I get especially the football players. They don't have long careers and there's no more money. You could be the best in the world today and then the coach says well, I'm sorry, you know, we will stick around you and the coach never calls most of those people never calls them that it's the mentality of the World by the way you go you work to Silicon Valley or you work on a job. What happens to you? You get sick.

I try to go through the health to get your insurance. It takes years sometimes to figure it out as a retiree. I'm learning that. What's your figure out which which it's just horrible? so we've got that all that you're in your mind. You're with me now. You wish me the about the people that walked in darkness there in darkness. And that's what I saw down there in Time Square, even though they were moving around. They look like didn't know what they were doing. So many of us in today's world are at that State. We don't know what we're doing anymore. We copy everything we see.

But we don't see the life.

God's people are to search for the real light.

He said I am the light of the world.

When Jesus comes he's looking for some people but actually know who he is.

It doesn't matter, you know, you go to these games and you going where people say, I want to thank Jesus. I will take my Lord and Savior for me. Just beating that person to the ground. He was with me so I obviously wasn't with the other person that got beaten up. All right, and sometimes by the way. This box is this week? He's in the hospital right now fighting for his life.

He was knocked out in the ring and he got up for a while and then all of a sudden he couldn't stand and now they did brain surgery on him and he's an induced coma. We don't know what's going to happen happened to him and the way they talk the way house silent it is, you know, it must be really bad because the family is asking for privacy and all that kind of stuff. You know, it must be really bad.

She doesn't care. We need to understand that because

problem with the church. Was that the ministers I'm talking about the Jewish priest they want you preaching the truth. They were supposed to know who Jesus was. And by the way, there were Gentiles who was studying the Bible more than the people in the church. Let me sit down cuz that's the end of a semi more than the people in the church. That's why sometimes when people come and ask us questions about the Bible. We need to check out cells when we can't answer them.

Because that, not asking serious questions and I'm not just talking about the Sabbath I thought about relations. Sometimes we will have talked to my pastor. Talk to your pastor.

I know the answer that's all due respect to the pastor. I'm not knocking any pastor Pastor to buy November long time. I know his wife and everything. He's cool with me. I remember Wilma Rudolph the Olympic runner years ago. She got polio at 8:16. All right, and they said her career is over and she said I'm going to win the Olympic gold medal.
