we actually had a at a talk about what our mission was going to be. What's the mission of our church was going to be what we were going to put out as a mission statement and then in my office, we got that mission statement on a on a little diesel there and it is simply seek and to save that which was lost. And that includes me that includes me a church does many thing? and the most important three things that a church that that is the function of a church. Number one is to edify the body of Christ. And if your if you are not here number one, you know if my even if it's a toe is missing off of my body. I'm out of balance you take the toe off of my body and I would have trouble balance and if you're not here. And you're not being edified number one. Then you're missing out you're missing out on the food. Attrition of the word you're missing out on the the the the oil of the spirit you're missing out on so much but not only that is the body suffers.

but edification of the body education is another great thing that we we educate we just got finished promoting our children, and I'm so proud of them. So we edifying we educate we fade and we educate. But I believe our Charter.

So very important. That we seek and we say that which was lost if y'all Terry's a hundred years.

Which I really don't believe he will cherries a hundred. No one will know my name and that's fine. I never want this to be known as brother Whitley sure. We are to make disciples of all Nations. We are you know what? I think we should do is start with America. I think we should make more disciples in America are probably our largest Mission field is right here in the good old USA.

If we can if we can affect Bryant Arkansas in Bryant Arkansas, we will change the world never be the same.

By the influence that we make right in this city. A proverb that tells us that he who wins a soul.

whenever I was a kid I thought about

and I've actually I've been I've been I've Loved politics since I was 9 years old. I used to it just tells you what a nerd I am. I used to rush home watch the news.

Whenever I was 9 years old lever that was that was during the hostage crisis in Iran. And I remember when I first got interested in paying attention, but always admired president and I grew up some day. I'll become president. but I wouldn't. I had a dream about that.

andam You know when you're a kid when you're 9 and you have these dreams of grandeur you have dreams of being president. I thought what would I do if I was president? Just be president. I would make everybody go to church.

Better but that would make everybody go to my church.

And of course, that would be I just asked her. They call that the Opera. And that's what the king in Europe used to do. You say you're either going to convert or Or Orem basically you convert the dirt.

but I still have that same desire. I don't have a desire to force people. I don't have a desire to I do have a desire in my heart that Jesus has is that we lost.

And I can't force people. But I've got that same desire that I had as a kid.

verse for it says who will have all men to be saved. Just back up to verse 3 it says for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our savior who will have all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth or there is one God. one mediator between God and man the man Christ Jesus

We've had turkey smoked turkey season and this church has been The things that have happened just in the last we just had parties and all kinds of Productions you name it and we're going to continue to do that everything that we do every single thing that we do we do it under God for a goal and that is to win a soul. That's all comes about anything other than winning a soul.

And I see that in churches. I see that.

Well, you can number one if you really want to know how to whistle. And I failed at this so many times. But you must live a holy life.

Scripture tells us that we are living.

That we are rid of all men. We're seeing if we read of all men. So we must live we must be all things to all men at all times and we must live above board whenever we are in business we must deal. Equitable whenever someone is in pain, we must help them when someone is in need we need to help because we are representing a god.

And we need to love.

as a good soldier of Jesus Christ endure hardship

I don't believe that we have began to see. I believe that we have spent two years planting and in 2019. If every one of the soldiers that raise your hand keep your promise, if you keep your vow that you just made I believe that the Harvest is all around us.

It's time for the soldiers to go out and put in the sickle. It's time for us to hit the streets with our message.

Well, there is no comfort zone. Russ there is no time to say my barn is full. Well, I'm in need of nothing. I've been blessed in many ways. I've been blessed. God is make sure I've got food on my table roof over my head. He's made sure that I can provide for my children, but there is no time. There is no time.
