TRUE AND FALSE CONVERSION
TRUE AND FALSE CONVERSION
; ; , , ; ;
Can I ask you to buy yourself a gift this month. Buy yourself a brand new Bible. I love new bibles with their fresh smelling pages and crisp words. I love the genuine leather bound ones because of their durability. I am reading it, but I am not being careless with it, filling its pages with loads paper and receipts. Let your bible be special. Just love it and take care of it. Why do you have to do this? When you open your Bible and read, it sometimes reads like the newspapers of today. The things you read about in the Bible are happening today before our eyes. Treasure it because the word of God is the seed of life. Jesus used the seed metaphor a lot in teaching about the Kingdom. Every bible reader knows that Jesus taught many things in Parables. These parables made His teaching very memorable. But the Seed Parables are the key to all His Kingdom parables.

1. The Fruit Of The Truly Converted
1. The Fruit Of The Truly Converted
; ; ;
Conversion will yield fruit in your life, good fruit that can be tested. Conversion is not about claims we make, but about a change of heart about sin and righteousness, producing corresponding action. John called the Pharisees a brood of vipers, giving an impression of a group of people holding unto dangerous doctrines that cannot save. To be saved you must then repent and begin to show forth the fruit of conversion (). There are basic fruits that must follow conversion. Look for those fruits in your life. If they are not there, your conversion might be false.
(i) The Fruit of Repentance () - without true repentance there is no conversion. In repentance we discover that sin is evil; we mourn that we have committed it; and we resolve to forsake it. You now begin to love what you once hated and hate what you once loved!
(ii) The Fruit of Good Works (; ; ). The life we live must prove what we claim with our mouths. You are ready to walk away from evil and every appearance of it. You are ready to share your goods with those who are less privileged or are in need. You are ready to submit yourself to the government and the authorities. You are ready to show mercy to those who offend you, just like Christ showed you mercy. You should be ready to obey the Royal Law ().
(iii) The Fruit of Thanks Giving ()
(iv) The Fruit of The Spirit ()
((v) The Fruit of Righteousness (; ; )
2. The Falsehood of False Conversion
2. The Falsehood of False Conversion
Received with Joy but no Depth ()
Received with Gladness but no Root (,)
Received on stony ground and No Moisture ()
False conversion can quickly be discovered. Just consider the things you take as very important. Are important in eternity? When you face trials and tribulations, do you give up your faith? Do you choose to do wrong? Do you abandon fellowship?. When faced with temptation do rather choose to sin rather than suffer? When persecutions come do you withdraw your faith to save your life? In , Jesus clearly tells us that hearing the world alone is not enough but doing what the word says. The wise man who built his house on the rock is a true convert, but the foolish man that built his house on sand is a false convert. The five wise virgins are true converts but the five foolish virgins are false converts. The seed that fell into good soil are true converts but all others are false converts. The good seed sown by the farmer are true converts, but the bad seed (tares ) are false converts. The good fish caught by the fisherman are true converts, but the bad fish are false converts.
Note that there is going to be a separation in the end, and it will be done by the angels. God does not give us permission to separate or chase false converts out of the Church. The angels will do it very perfectly ().
Check yourself very well with God’s word
