Why Jesus Came
How does it make you feel knowing that someone else was punished because of the things you have done wrong?
If you could only say one thing to Jesus about how he showed mercy to you, what would you say?
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.

What is peace?
Peace is freedom from feeling guilty in our hearts.
15 I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.”
1 Now the Lord said to Abram, “Go from your country and your kindred and your father’s house to the land that I will show you. 2 And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
From the beginning God knew all we needed was Jesus, that is why he came to earth. We can see God’s wisdom.
