CISP: When you have Jesus you should be giving Him away.
P: Kids will understand how to care for others that need Jesus.
SM -
1) If you could buy any gift for a friend what would it be?
2) How do you feel when someone is opening your gift?
3) Did Jesus get gifts?
We – like getting gifts but we are not all good at giving gifts. Gifts are a wonderful part of being a Christian. We get to give! It is really a big part of being followers of Jesus. But how do we give Jesus?
ILL - Community meals...
T.S. - Does God want people to go hungry…? NO but what if we just feed their belly…?
Bible -
They entered the house and saw the child with his mother, Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasure chests and gave him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
You – probably don’t know anyone homeless, but do you have friends that don’t know Jesus? Did you know that your job this year is to give them Jesus. To be the best friend they have ever had.
We – have God who loves us so much and he gave us Jesus. We know can give the love of Jesus away.
PRAYER - Jesus I want to be the best friend I can to someone this next year and they might know your love!
