Hey You! (Get the audience’s attention
It’s hard to keep up with all of the technological advances and the things we discover and can do with them. What once used to take up several floors in a gov building, can fit in your pocket. Our tech inventions are getting smaller and more capable of helping us understand the world around us. We use them for many reasons.
For millennia, the human race has been searching for answers to help understand. From examining everything on surface of earth, to the bottom of the oceans, and deep in the earth’s core, and even inside our own bodies, we examine, looking for answers and clues to life as we know it.
An example is this ancient tool found in sea* Antikythera mechanism, The largest of the 82 pieces of the mechanism found so far, Fragment A has four spokes that would’ve rotated once per year, tracking the Sun relative to background stars.
And the search hasn’t stopped there. For the same time, we have been gazing into outer space, hoping for answers to the question, is there life outside of earth? Is there intelligent life, and if so, has it tried to make contact with us? Thus the rise of space alien sightings and theories, related to the phenomenon observed near Edwards air force base in Nevada, commonly known as area 51, and in prehistoric artifacts across the Atlantic Englands, famous Stonehenge, a prehistoric monument in Wiltshire, England,
Looking to the stars and traveling to the stars.
, that have amazed modern scientists, even with our state of the art NASA JPL, RUSSIAN, CHINESE, space force devices, we find that the universe is vastly complex and beyond complete comprehension in our current lifetime.
Just look at the stunning detail of this recent image taken from NASA jpl mars lander InSight's.

But it doesn’t take something hightech to get us the answers we desire. Looking into scripture, tells the story, we believe are facts that the life on this planet indeed began because of a loving intelligent creator God that chose to become the Christ, the greatest high tech device ever used, and it was meant to do just what we are doing. To be able to come into relationship with us, so we can understand him.
Christ was the greatest high tech device ever used, and it was meant to do just what we are doing. To be able to come into relationship with us, so we can understand him.
Our mighty God is so mighty he was able to get our attention and enter our lives through something, so small in size, simple in appearance, and helpless in its newborn state.

Isaiah 9:6 CEB
A child is born to us, a son is given to us, and authority will be on his shoulders. He will be named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
As these four names imply, the light that we are looking for, was promised to contain the character that these names imply. In the last installment of this series, we examined the Prince of Peace. The forgiving nature of Christ that gives us peace from the guilt of sin and instills love in our hearts to be able to live for him and others, as we allow His peace to rule our hearts and minds.
Today we examine the “mighty God.
Humanity thinks it is so mighty with all of the modern advances, abilities, and the great distances we can now send our inventions. At first glance it seems
Some have suggested that this simply means “a godlike person” or hero. But Isaiah meant more than that, for he had already spoken of the Messiah doing what no other person had been able to do (e.g., 9:2–5)
Isaiah 9:2–4 CEB
2 The people walking in darkness have seen a great light. On those living in a pitch-dark land, light has dawned. 3 You have made the nation great; you have increased its joy. They rejoiced before you as with joy at the harvest, as those who divide plunder rejoice. 4 As on the day of Midian, you’ve shattered the yoke that burdened them, the staff on their shoulders, and the rod of their oppressor.
This at first glance, doesn’t seem like a mighty king. This infant lowly, from humble beginnings.
Born in a manger.
10 The angel said, “Don’t be afraid! Look! I bring good news to you—wonderful, joyous news for all people. 11 Your savior is born today in David’s city. He is Christ the Lord. 12 This is a sign for you: you will find a newborn baby wrapped snugly and lying in a manger.”

Luke 2:10–12 CEB
10 The angel said, “Don’t be afraid! Look! I bring good news to you—wonderful, joyous news for all people. 11 Your savior is born today in David’s city. He is Christ the Lord. 12 This is a sign for you: you will find a newborn baby wrapped snugly and lying in a manger.”
.
God did what is impossible for us, and created life, became a living baby, born from Mary.God who is so great and vast became hightech and small to be able to give us light hope peace.
Take away the sin of the world.
John 1:29 CEB
The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!
And to become the ...

He chose this method, I believe, in order to connect with us at our level, in a way we can relate.
See! (Explain the passage)
There was no question he loved her. He was absolutely bedazzled by her. Surprising, really, because she was plain, maybe even… well, (to someone else perhaps) disappointing. But then, he himself was a poor man who didn’t have even two coins to rub together. He wasn’t especially handsome, either. But he was good… a good and godly man, and he swept her off her feet, and won her heart. What makes that ordinary story extraordinary is the rest of the story.
Before this, he was a king who loved a humble maiden.” He was a great king and he could have whatever he wanted. Every statesman feared his wrath, every foreign state trembled before his power; they would have all sent ambassadors to the wedding.
He realized that if he asked his courtiers they would say, “Your majesty is about to confer a favor upon the maiden for which she can never be sufficiently grateful her whole life long.” That was the problem! Even if she wanted to come with him, he would never know for certain if she would have loved him for himself. So he wrestled with his troubled thoughts alone.
Finally, he decided. If she could not come up to his high station and be sure to love him freely, he must descend to hers. And he must descend stripped of his royal power and wealth, for only then would he know if his beloved loved him freely, as equals. So he laid aside all his power and privileges, and came to her as her equal, to win her love.
Do! (Make application)
Listen to more of the story and head its call, to follow the mighty God, Mighty God, Our Promised Hope.
