scripture for today's from Luke chapter 4 Verse 17 through 21 The Scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him unrolling it. He found the place where does written the spirit of the Lord is on me because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to Proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind to release the oppressed to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor. Then he rolled up the scroll give it back to the attendant and sat down the eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him. And he began by saying to them today. This scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.
Would you join me in prayer?
Heavenly father as we are here this morning. 2 hear from you I asked that my your Mighty power you would speak with Clarity to our hearts and our minds. Newegg aurify Just your awesomeness of Who You Are. and set apart this time that we would learn from you. You are good. This time of year reminds us. ever goodness So we commit ourselves now to you. Almighty. God to hear from you from your word sheepish, please break us. Pieces together we are we are broken. He'll today. Phil s today
Glorify yourself today. That's what we want. We deserve for you to do what you do best next to change S Mode us Wireless to glorify you. Soul or doesn't it's an honor to speak to your people today to speak through me please some it's time to you and swear to
in The Wonderful Name of Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen. At Christmas time we like to focus on the birth of Jesus that make sense. Write a note think about Cross of Christ at Christmas. We think about baby Jesus. That's okay. That's a good thing. I think in the focus of Christmas because it is a joyous time and because we get to see the baby Jesus so much. that we inevitably lose sight of The point of the baby Jesus don't get me wrong.
We all know why Christ was born at least. I hope we do we know inevitably. He is a king. He is D King the savior of the world. So naturally we see this baby and we know and we talked about this child and we know what Christ is coming to do. But I wonder when we think about Isaiah chapter 61 and Luke chapter 4 as we just read. Do we see it as Christ sees it and do we understand it as the father understands it? This morning by God's wonderful siren hand we were able to have a class meet together to classes meet together and the teacher this morning and sharing his lesson. Shared something to the effect that I'm going to say today, and it was great affirmation to me. To think all right. We're getting this right. Here's my brother saying almost exactly what I'm going to say. And when I wanted to
In preparing for this wanting to say certain things. I felt like it was better to just say frankly. that the birth of Jesus Christ the wonderful is a great reminder of the issue that we have as human beings. It is a massive red flag though good news. That is joyful news and is a huge red flag in history to tell us something is very wrong.
So are you in thinking about this? I don't want to suck the life out of Christmas, right? I think by looking at it for what it is. You actually have more life in you and worship with a far more sense to your heart when you see it for what it is. This child given as a mission and its commissioned from the father to do something very intense in Christ knew that call so as glorious and is Halo like as the baby Jesus is and as wonderful as the moment is It is a very intense and someone grew something that he is enduring for the sake of his creation. And I think if we see Christ in the manger as the king and the position of kingship of what he's doing this is a king who is coming to rescue and to pay a massive price for his creation weekend NC Christmas for what it is and I'll be kind of less about us what we give and what we receive and more about him as that King to say now. That is what it's actually about. What was he actually coming here for and it's so much more than let's talk about baby Jesus. It's let's talk about the king and with the king's business is about why is he even here? Why is he doing what he's doing in? My hope is in hearing this we all walk away with a sense of real all and reverence of what he is and who he is and what he was doing then we're also in power through his word at through his Spirit to say that means you're reminds me of what I have been given in Jesus Christ and what he was about or what I should be. Not just baby Jesus and then this guy is going to grow up and do some stuff but baby Jesus is a red flag of what is coming and what has come and what has been fulfilled and it will I believe create opportunity for us to evangelize the lost and share in a season that people are ripe to hear the gospel. But rather With the Enemy does he wants us to just focus on baby Jesus not with him 10 of purposes rather than seeing it as a red flag see it as just a benevolent Act of this cute chubby baby. What a wonderful time of year it is. It's the most wonderful time of the year it is, but why? Why is it the Most Wonderful Time of the Year? It's because of the cross of Jesus Christ and the filling of the Holy Spirit and his shirts that that baby is reminding us of not just that God sent some baby with some gift and it's good news for all people. Why is it good news? It's the gospel. It's good news. What is a good news? That everyone is in desperate need of their maker and that he is doing something about it.
So I don't want to confuse and this is what I think is happening within the culture. even in the church I don't want to confuse the birth of Jesus Christ.
I think our culture is doing this with what the gospel is. You follow me. Like if you if you believe that Jesus is born that's good news. That's obviously what the church must be talking about the time though. That's their Joy. That's the gospel. I hope you're tracking to me in this it is a wonderful thing. But what is the gospel?
So my hope is that we take away from this a sense of urgency to say we've got time right now with this little baby in a Manger that seems so cuddly and it is it's wonderful the cemeteries great to say, let me tell you what this is actually about over coffee or something else. Come join me at my house on Christmas day without completely terrorizing someone, you know, Blood and Guts on Christmas Day and they pierced his side and water flowed out. You know, I like what you guys what I'm saying is give the message the full message of the gospel of Christ and Christ does this perfectly and he fulfills let the beauty of what the best news ever is that Christ fulfilled Jesus fulfills what he said he would do in the birth. God is fulfilling the Danny what Jesus says he tells us very clearly what he has done and what we as Christians can receive. No and Isaiah when Isaiah is saying what he's saying he's speaking. As profits would in the perspective of the one that would be the anointed and that since the Messiah as kings and leaders and prophets were anointed by God this particular one and Isaiah is coupled together with all this imagery of the suffering servant and all these things and Israel would be longing for this individual for the sake of setting them free from their oppressors. But please don't forget why they're oppressed in the first place is because of their own sin. They have been so lost and corrupted by their own sin and their evil in their hearts. They are in desperate need of rescuing. It's not just because they've accidentally fallen into this place or this bad spot is because they have chosen wickedness. God has allowed this Brokenness and he is hammered them and then it all of his ways and all the prophets. He gives this immense amount of grace and mercy to his people to say, but I will not leave you I will redeem you and Isaiah speaking from the perspective of the Messiah the one that would then give them what they really needed in the first place which was freedom from all this bondage that they're under enemies bonded and then their own bond is that they cost so when Isaiah saying these words For the people of Israel, it was seen as yes salvation and the day of the Lord are simultaneous. They're going to come together. He's going to come down in this this Messiah will come and help him set free the captives ride him leaving the oppressed and at the same time the Judgment of God will fall. So Israel's redeemed and judgment happens on the enemy's this is theirs, and Isaiah 61. We are in a phase of what I call the, this long gaps is a very long pause. This is not what Israel was expecting when Isaiah spoken. He spoke it holistically because that's how an Israelite review it day of the Lord Redemption judgement simultaneous and Israel's restore. God has different things in mind and redemption in a Salvation, right? So when he brings a sense of setting captives free Christ stops there and he sits down, Which is quite out of the ordinary you shouldn't just do that in public reading and they knew this so he takes the, pauses and he just sits down. He's going to sit down not because he's done but because it's really fast and you would have sat down to speak. So he sat down and this was going to be his lesson if you will. For the people and it was a very very brief lesson. But the context of it for Israel is that Isaiah speaking from the perspective of this Messiah that would set free and redeem and judge simultaneously and price actually says that's not the time yet. This is not that time yet. He tells us this later. It's a two-part coming right he comes spread the good news all the gospel news and then leave and then after the, Isaiah 61 he's coming back. So long Paws here. Let's start go with the importance of the word of God for us as people in for the Israelites. But anyone that knows God must know what he's up to and he allows us to do that through the reading of his word. There's two individuals and scripture that give phenomenal Clarity to the point and purpose of prophetic word. So go to Romans first chapter 15 and look at verse for Romans chapter 15 and verse for I'll give you a moment to go there.
So in Romans chapter 15 and verse for Paul says this to the Church of Rome for whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction but through endurance in through the encouragement of the scriptures. We might have hope. So what scripture is written for our instruction? So we need to understand something from it gain something from and there's value and there's importance to it is the revealing of God's heart to humanity. We're keeping all this in mind as we're going to read through. This text today and then go to 1st Peter chapter 1.
1st Peter chapter 1 will start in verse 16. Now. This comes from Peter the individual that was on the mountain with Jesus at the moment of transfiguration what Peter saw was unlike anything else that anyone else saw it's a phenomenal illustration of God giving him a glimpse of the glory of Jesus Peter experienced it firsthand who smelt the smells. He saw the sights. He had it. All right in front of his face. So First Peter chapter 1 starting in verse 16 Actually, can I have to be?
2nd Peter I hear some twos. I was like no that ain't right.
For those of you scholars in the crowd you knew exactly the moment. I said it like you're wrong Scott. Okay 2nd Peter. Do not follow cleverly devised myths when we met known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty. There it is. For when he received honor and Glory from God the father and the voice was born to him by the Majestic Glory. This is my beloved Son. With whom I am. Well pleased we ourselves heard this voice born from heaven for we were with him on the Holy Mountain and we have the prophetic word more fully confirm to which you will do well to pay attention to as a lamp shining in the dark place until the day Dawns and The Morning Star rises in our hearts and knowing this first of all that no prophecy of scripture comes from someone's own interpretation for no prophecy was ever produced by the will of the men spoke from God has ever carried Along by the Holy Spirit the importance of the word of God cannot be stressed enough and the understanding of the Christ life to say, what was God saying and what did he do to complete this thing? It is a longing in our hearts when we see the word of God say something. We want to see it. Come to Pat's the Holy Spirit as Wireless in this Way to know it and it's not by accident. He spoke it. He's in us he wants us to see how he works. We're going to see Jesus do this first hand. And then what does it mean for us as a Christian for the Israelites for us this dominance explosion effect for all that? We've come to Jesus Christ is found in this moment. with Jesus in these words So start in verse 14 of Luke chapter 4 rather than 17. Let's go to 14.
Luke chapter 4 verse 14 and Jesus returned in the power of the Holy Spirit to Galilee and report about him went out through all the surrounding country and he taught in their synagogues being glorified by all.
He's in the power of the Holy Spirit. teaching in their synagogues
Xenoverse 15 Says this being glorified. by all
this is what I don't want to miss at Christmas time. the crisis on Mission from the manger Sent by the father.
And when he's doing what he's doing is he's beginning to tell City to City of City who is Woody's called to do he is glorified by all that experience him.
Am I thought was if we're talking about at this time of year, we're talking about the best news ever. Jesus fulfilling what he said he would do. I can't help it Paul's before we go into the rest of this to ask myself. Am I experiencing him? At Christmas in such a way that he is glorified by me.
Christ's presence on Earth
the word becoming flesh the child is Born the son is given to make us rejoice with hope not because things are just going really well at Christmas time. Or because it's a wonderful time of year.
But because it is screaming at us that our issues.
Are being addressed that we have been an awful thing? If you're not made for this. Thing this funk that were in that Christ is come to do something. I should Rejoice to know that Humanity was in trouble.
But I see the manger as a sign of Something's coming for you and it has come in a word has been fulfilled. So I ask myself do I see the manger in that moment?
Does it protect my mind towards Christ the King Saviour King? Does it make my heart want to see Kim more? Is it mean to glorify him? Make me ask the question Jesus. Why are you here? Why have you done this? What do you want from me this Christmas print my heart to seek him to think about him or to think more about me. Is it a time of worship?
Or selfish Pursuits for me.
Christmas in the time of year is all about glorification of the King Jesus.
It's somehow Amanda supposed to be about us and I think it's because we don't see Christ as king. We see him as a baby in the manger.
Rather than driving our hearts towards yes, but what did he do?
being glorified by all Am I glorifying Christ for what he has done as my king. I got to be honest with you. I'm actually a little more comfortable this time of year to just imagine him as a baby Jesus because it was King Jesus then there's demands Baby, Jesus doesn't make demands on Scott Robbins King Jesus Duds and if I can categorize him for just the season that I can make everything about me gift-giving and cloak it in some sort of religious love that God gave his son as this little this gift. I can give gifts and I can receive a bunch of gear in our latest pastors blog on the Church website our pastor wrote A Blog in the beginning of that sentence that just says More or less. This is my interpretation of it taking some Freedom here. If you say you don't want a gift at Christmas. It's more or less impossible to say because Christmas is about receiving a gift.
So I read that and thought. I don't like that because I always say I don't really want any gifts at Christmas. It's not because I'm trying to be like super spiritual because but it is because I know me I know me if I get a bunch of presents and guess what Christmas is about. It's about me. I would rather just not get any presents. So I told our Pastor Mark that he almost completely dismantled my argument and just one sentence. I was like, I don't like that sentence. Can you change what you wrote or something? Cuz I like saying don't give me a gif not to sound super spiritual. We just because I just don't want it. I know me but I can't put down that everybody else right can't have everybody else understand that. I'm telling you that I'll give me the gifts, but my point is that I'm protecting myself. I'm guarding myself.
But if I can categorize Jesus's baby Jesus at Christmas, I can easily make it more about me. I can easily be stressed out. I need to be frantic. I can be anxious overwhelmed fearful spend a lot of money don't spend a lot of money whatever it is. I can just make Christmas about me if he's not the king. So really what I need to do is categorize Jesus as this is a thing that talks about what is coming. This is salvation and this is the red flag for this is what I'm trying to get us to to say, what is the this season doing to my mind and my heart is a leading me to Worship in a say be glorified by all or just saying this is great. This is fun. This feels good. That's great. But it's fun. That does feel good. But what's the point? What's the point if you don't know the point you'll miss so many opportunities with your family and your friends. It was just about the gift-giving process.
Verse 16 says this he came to Nazareth. Now. This was a relatively large gap of time from 15216. He came to Nazareth where he had been brought up everybody in this room can to some degree empathize with Jesus here cuz you're like, I know that feeling going somewhere. You've been brought up. It doesn't matter who you are. It doesn't matter what you've done. It doesn't matter what you have accomplished. It doesn't matter how many letters are after your name. Your town doesn't care. Your family doesn't care. I never Chuck Swindoll saying, you know you all look at me is Chuck Swindoll and my kids and grandkids seeing his Dad and Grandad and that's it. I don't care about any book that I written or anything that I've spoken that I'm just Dad and Grandad I don't impress them at all. Jesus is God in the flesh. He's a carpenter's son. He's a carpenter boy right to them. I remember him but he has this thing that he's been doing. It was his custom. You see this little Paul as well being a good salad you having this custom of teaching Jesus had found this custom that he had obviously for quite some time and it says as was his custom he went to the synagogue on the Sabbath day and he stood up to read that of course, that's the custom of the Jew but he had discussed him. Obviously this thing that he did obviously being some of this very well-versed in the word. They knew that he was one of the rare ones in the town that he was going to read and of course they would listen to him. He was a bright young man. Brazos custom
now the reason I'm picking out these words because Jesus has a way in which he does things right? I'm so glad that Luke writes this he always has and he always will have a way in which he does things and I don't want to miss. Jesus has been doing this for some time. Now with these people and what he's been doing and leading up to this point. He's priming their hearts and their minds and you guys ever had a really good teacher that does something you can't answer this obviously, but think about a teacher that does something that seems so normal or whatever. It may be to you and then when the time comes or maybe a good Mentor they reveal to you what the point and purpose of all that was and you're like what I wish I could be like that right cuz you like no one can really think out something that will that you just want to get used to it and then the big reveal I long to be like that one day. I got a long ways to go Jesus being God is priming the hearts and minds of individuals cuz he has his custom. He's been doing this they're used to this. Right and what is about to do is shift their mind entirely from what they know about him into a completely different world. Where there in a huge dilemma. Right Carpenter boy Carpenter's son is about to do something then psychologically and spiritually that's going to make them really say like, who are you like? What are you doing? What are you saying? That's right. Now in Jesus have been priming their hearts. He's still does this every moment that Jesus works in the hearts of men and women. He's always doing this. He's fulfilling the words that he's promised from long ago these going to rescues people that he would change the lives. He's always doing this in the beauty of a Christmas time. Like this is that it reminds us that he is priming Hearts, you know, he's priming hearts and our ears and getting them ready and almost every things by having interactions with Christians at this time of year.
Right. I having interactions with the church this time of year is using the church to Prime the hearts and minds of men and women that otherwise would never listen to the gospel.
There's a lot to be said for that but knowing that pay attention to what you say and how you say it and what's important to you when you go to certain places.
Because you're the gospel. What speaks more loudly to someone? Generosity grace-mercy, or you didn't say Merry Christmas?
Christ Christ-mass where I'm from. Nobody knows what Mass means. They're like Jesus Christ. What's the last part? I don't know, but it's Miss. So don't miss it.
right Keep this in mind. He's priming the hearts and minds of men and women through the gospel through the church all the time. We are ambassadors and Christmas is a time that epitomizes this. He's always working as his custom sees fit. What we think is just normal. He's using that for a big reveal and 90% of the time. If not more. You'll have no idea that he's just used you for a big reveal. You may never know but you might be told a decade later and you would like I sent that.
If you think he's using you for a big reveal don't even use Flash. I guarantee you he's not. Because you're in a think I got this. Something offered. This is my chance. Let me drop this just walk away from that please by all means. He's going to use you when you're completely unaware of it or you're going to say I don't really want to do this right now Jesus.
This word is so important to the church that is priming he has this custom. We have to know it we have to understand how he's working. You have to know his fulfillment to pay attention to how he's working this time of year is a fast and fantastic time is worse fulfill this good news, or to Spokane the loss. It's his custom to work in the hearts and minds and I wonder do we the church know his Trust
That's my question for me and us the whole church Big C. Does the church know today his Customs how he's working. What is he doing? What is your regular they do? Are we expecting something from him? I promise when we know what God is up to the manger scene points to these moments of him is the king with a plan. Christmas the best news ever makes us far more alert and attentive to him and less attentive to ourselves and our agendas wherever we go. John verse 17 and says he found a place that it was written. Now there's a lot of riding about this and nobody knows historically speaking for the Israelis. What they would have done is Reddit in correlation to the law and the prophets in the law. The law either would have been probably following this will most likely go for it. So they open this huge scroll up and hand it to Isaiah to Jesus. Jesus rules it out. Now. Here's the debate going on. A lot of people say well this is exactly where they would have been reading. So Jesus being God is Sovereign awesomeness of listening to the father of you the spirit being power of the spirit. Of course, it's the perfect day at the perfect time and wits it would open Isaiah 61 the numbers and you would find this and say the days of the day. All these years and I'm priming your ears in your hearts low and behold I'm back and I'm going to read perfectly where we should be today. I like that. I like that version. I like the idea that that he is there and it's perfectly time like this could not have happened by chance. I love that. I also like the other side of the other side of that the court that they say, well Jesus most likely had a set because I can't time it perfectly in history Wrightwood on this calendar to say, oh it was this day and this sabbath so he would have been reading this. It's another educated guess is he just found it because he's like, I want to show you who I am. I know we're supposed to read this portion, but I'm going to find this portion and I'm going to read I like that one too, because he's the king he can do whatever he wants. He wrote it, right? So it's his word. He has total Liberty freedom and it doesn't matter which one they're both really cool either way prices King and it works out perfectly for him. Tell Christ sinks this out or finds the place verse 17 in the scroll of the property as it was given to him. He unrolled the scroll and found the place where it was written.
I want to say that Jesus is always intentional with what he does.
He's in a place where you can specifically address what he's all about. And then one short moment. He's going to change lives through what he says. And it gets extreme Clarity on who he is.
So before we read what he says the question, I have just want to prepare my heart in mind as I read this. And what he has come to do and what he did as a savior. Am I receiving what Jesus is about to say Mercy Nyan and have has it been fulfilled in my life. This is where will swear to slide into home plate for the at the close of our time together.
Okay, so let's look at his words that think through this. Number one, the spirit of the Lord is upon me because he has anointed me to Proclaim good news to the poor. First you notice the spirit of the Lord is upon me.
Which means he is the anointed one. Messiah why is it a big deal? Because Christ being who he is.
Has completed a word for his people. Israel at this point in time that they've been longing for. He's the anointed one, but also the church. Colossians chapter 3 says we are hidden with Christ in God. The spirit of God is upon Christ. If I am in the position of a sun in Christ, guess what the spirit of God is upon me. That's great. I embrace that what Jesus hasn't is positionally I too that's wonderful. He says he has anointed me. Is Anointed Christ to do something is the Messiah the Fowler's anointed him if Christ is Anointed positionally because I'm in Jesus. I too am anointed for call in a purpose because I'm in the person of Jesus Christ. Now that Jesus has his thing then I got my thing is because I'm in Jesus. I am called to something with him dragon that sell the spirit this anointing and call. the purpose it's to proclaim the good news to the poor why the poor and Israel? The leaders had ignored the poor for a long time. If you're either profits without encourage you to go. Do you always see God saying more or less the same thing you wretched leaders have forgotten the broken the poor and you take advantage of all of them kill them their blood is on your hands. He hates. The Crisis coming to say I'm speaking to the poor finally cuz you've always ignored ignored all of them. This is for them. So that's in the context for the Israelite before us.
Good news for poor person. What's good news for poor person? You're rich. You're not bored anymore. That's great news when you're poor.
Is here when the king comes to town? He takes overall economic themes in his ruling position and Authority changes the way things have been working. If you've been poor all this King was loving merciful great and really rich is changing the economic system. You're no longer poor. What is real property to God?
It's not having him.
It's not just physical property. Jesus is addressing spiritual poverty. We are all spiritually poor. This word is not destroy Israel is for every single human being on the Earth. We have nothing. God has everything this news is good news for everyone. Everyone is poor is not a select group of folks that are poor right? I'm a turtle pass like they're the ones that are really poor. I'm going to go after then everybody else is damned. But those guys they're the real poor know everybody's poor. Knows more none is more poor than the others not categorize specifically for pour Les por everybody's for you all need a savior. This is news for everybody if you're not poor is not for you.
everybody's poor
the only way to realize though that your poor is if you see the riches of a king this particular King with your life and your own ice and the gospel. Does this the gospel allows us to see our property. This is why the gospel is suffocated so much during this time of year because people don't want to see their poverty. This Christmas Mariah me in my property without Jesus. I sold property because it's you as a Christian.
And then Christ I should live rich spiritually because it's exactly what I mean. I do this for a living in love with Jesus in line with his word trusting in Him and not myself.
Do I live like I'm rich in Christ? Realizing I was once poor now. I'm rich with him or do I pursue wealth here to cover up my property in my soul. My pursuing my own Comfort here so I can cover up my poverty has Christ address the poor man in me. About loud price to address the poor man in me. Am I allowed these words to be fulfilled in my life yet? Because Jesus specifically says today. These words are fulfilled with means in the person of Jesus Christ what he says has come to pass and him. You're no longer poor.
He says this. He has sent me if he said I am said he actually says in John 20:21 as the father has sent me. I to send you do, you know Christian that you were sent. Do you know permission is it's a good one? What was he sent to do same thing. We're going to be doing for cleaning Liberty to the captives many people in Israel at this time, or at least in their history were enslaved and captured by their enemies because of their sin in the messiah's going to Free Them All
in this particular time in history for Israel is actually kind of peaceful from what it was and where it's going to be. There's not a whole lot of people in prison right now. Do this word being spoken is for Spiritual captivity just as much for Israel when it was spoken with physical captivity.
Who is he freaking? Anyone that's captured. Who's captured? everyone there's again. These people are neighbors his neighbors his friends family.
Who's the enemy that keeps us captive?
demonic powers We all over one's following the passions of our flesh The Prince and power of the Year. All of Humanity's capture. We got to be free.
I don't want to miss this our family. Our neighbors are friends or co-workers. All of them are in captivity and the king is come to set them free. There's a liberty in Christ. And do they know this? I wonder do they know this. He goes on to say this. I'm going to give sight to the blind. Simple can I see? Spiritually, can I see Christ do I seek him out with Nuance or am I still oblivious to his work? Do I see Christ working? Can I see him working through me?
Has he given the eyesight ever received it that's address the blind man. And may have I allowed his word to be fulfilled in my life yet in this way. Is there something that you were that I am allowing? the blind me Do you remember that you were once blind? It's by no accident that Peter tells the church his divine power has granted us all things that pertain to life and godliness with the knowledge of him who called us. There was only two that through then you may become partakers of the divine nature having escaped from the corruption as in the world because of simple desire for this very reason make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue and that's what I like brotherly affection and Burleigh affection with love for it these qualities or yours and are increasing they keep you from being an effective and unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ for whoever lacks. These qualities is so nearsighted that he is blind. Having forgotten that he was cleanse from his former sins. To be all the more diligent to confirm your calling do I know that I've been set free from blindness and have I legitimately allowed those words to affect my life. Are you impressed? He says Proclaim Liberty to the captive from a sight to the blind us at the liberty of those who are oppressed. There are people all around us every day that are oppressed. Any sets people free from oppression you and I have been set free from oppression.
You still freeze people from oppression?
Jesus wants to liberate those who are oppressed.
He wants people free. He's not okay with oppression. As Christ address the oppressed a man in my heart and my mind if I allow these words to people filled in me yet and the year of the Lord's favor. S2, The sake of time I can't go through all the details of this. So I'm just going to close with this. Jesus's words
