I want to tell you we pursue a lot of things. We pursue a lot of wealth. We pursue a comfort we pursue a lot of stuff a lot of material to pursue relationships. Let me tell you pursue the word of God because there's always blessing in that in Proverbs. 15:16 is his better is little with the fear of the Lord than great treasure and with trouble with it when you pursue and seek God's word and just want to just devour it it only brings blessing. If you were to pursue anything else. I can promise you there's going to be trouble but pursue God's word to show his love for you and I guarantee you you will learn and know how to love others and how to love things appropriately. Things aren't bad. But as long as you understand that comes from him alone, let us go to God's word in prayer. Let's go to God In Prayer. Heavenly father. Thank you for this time of coming together Lord. We just asked at this Christmas season, we can see you we can understand you and we can take joy in you and declare the war to the world about you and what you have accomplished. It's all about you lord. It's always been about you and always will be about you. Thank you Lord for letting us be part of that process. Thank you for allowing us to be the broken Tools in which you plant your kingdom is beautiful kingdom. the world can see thank you for taking the time to turn your mind. Turn your eye. Turn your ear. The church. I'm glad I'm here today Christmas. Is there a theater was amazing? Let me just tell you there were every night was full and packed. It was wonderful to see the name of Jesus being brought out to everybody. Because he was all about the Savior the god-man which is our title today. But God meant Christ the god-man is all about him to understand that he answered this world as a human. That's our first scripture scripture is magnificent my mind and lots of massive mines are still trying to comprehend and put it all together.

Paul wants us to see an aspect understand the Jesus Christ became a human. It is an important part of understanding our Christian Life to understand Not only was he divine?

Not only was he God Not only was he from the beginning to the end there is no and there is no beginning that he was the all-knowing all-powerful god of the universe the song he came down to be a human being and he had to In order to have us be reunited with God. It was not just a simple task. It was a task that took a life. A task that took the Garmin to accomplish.

And something needs to be understood his divinity when he became a human. Do not overtake his Humanity. He was a full human in every regard except without sin. He's the man. He's the only mediator the guy that you talk to to talk to God.

But also to show us that Jesus knows you. He knows all your troubles. He's been there and he's done it. There's never a part of your life and what you can say. Jesus doesn't understand this. pause very adamant about pursuing and showing us that

Verse 7. The second part is being born the likeness of man. This is referring to the birth that God came down as a human being as a little baby born as it says in Isaiah 9:6 for to us a child is born we became human. To us a son is given meaning that he's always been the Sun. I just hope he's always been God the son. And the sun came down you didn't earn son Hood as a human. He was the Sun the only begotten that came down.

And then he lived a life as a human being born in the likeness of men meaning everything that you see as a man. He was it he had the nature of a man Schumann finiteness. Hebrews chapter 2 verse 12 is that therefore he had to be made like his brothers in every respect and again you see her and being found in human form and verse 8 of Philippians against being found in human form. This is very important to understand that he's a human being that which we have seen with our hands and with her eyes and we have touched we have touched with our hands. Concerning the word of life. Jesus understands that She was human gets you you can go to him without any because he's been there. He's done that you understand what it means to be hungry. I mean goodness gracious. He was 40 days and 40 nights. I've never been that hungry. Let me tell you understand what it means to have hunger. And yet not get cranky. Angry at some of us a angry and hungry. You understand what it's like to do these things without sin. You understand what it means to literally let it all out to God the Father to just pray and say God's spirit is here. I am this is everything is going on in my life and Hebrew chapter 5 verse 7 in the days of his flesh. Jesus offered up prayers and supplications with loud cry. It's like when you just stand before God if they got here I am here is everything that's going on raising his voice talking to God he gets that He knows that position. He knows that life situation.

Jesus understand what it means to learn. That's what he knows what it means to learn. It says Jesus in Luke chapter 2 verse 52 Jesus increased in wisdom putting blocks together learning how it is to whittle. He probably watch that show how stuff works good show. I love it. I could show learning he had to learn in his Humanity not in his divinity.

Jesus know what it's like to be an independent thinker Has its own thoughts his own. Well his own dislikes. How do I know this? Matthew chapter 26 verse 39 Going a little father selling his face face and prayed my father if it's possible. Let this cup pass from me. Nevertheless it is. I will if you will. I understand what it means to be an independent thinker understands what it means to have his own thoughts.

Jesus understands what it means to be a Stanish. We need to be like to see something that looks amazing you look at maybe your technology technology if you tried a bunch of kids in there because he was astonished and he said I tell you the truth. I have not found anyone in his real with such great. He knows how to take enjoyment in things and see the good in things.

Matthew chapter 26 verse 40 and he came to the disciples and found them sleeping. He said so you could not watch with me one hour. I'm going to be saving the world and you couldn't just stay up for an hour.

Do you understand what that black? We asked someone to do something. They don't come through. He's been there. But yeah, he did it without saying.

That he is the king of kings and the Lord of lords and to him as it says in Daniel chapter 7 verse 14 and to him was given to a minions and glory and a kingdom that all Peoples Nation and language should serve him. His Dominion is an everlasting Dominion with shall not pass away and his kingdom is one that shall not be destroyed. Church, this is Christmas and we get to declare these things we get to extol and we get to praise His name. That's why you're here today. That's why you're sitting here is to magnify the name of Jesus. That's people who come in here should see that and just be in all that. Why are you guys here to see Jesus amongst? It's the day that we get to gather together as a church.

And say Jesus the magnify.

And your sickness if your sick is knotting is not Lord of your life. Jesus is Lord of your life down to your sickness down the Christ live for Christ. Get some physical ailment that is not Lord of your life. Jesus is Lord of your life.

Your finances are not Lord of your life. Jesus is Lord of your life.

Your worries that keep you up at night are not Lord of your life. Jesus is Lord of your life. It's Christmas. This is why he came to die to say look towards me. I am the god man. I am the one who did it all for you come to me all you who are weary, and I will give you rest. Come to me with all you who are burdened and I will give you rest because I did it all. I became a man so that you can be with me to the glory of the father.

There's somebody I'm sure in your life. I need to be reminded of that. The Jesus came down and knows all their problems.

If somebody out there that needs to know that Jesus came and died.

There's somebody out there maybe your new life that needs to be encouraging that the maybe they've just been down this and I don't know where God is Jesus understands that my God my God. Why have you forsaken me? Jesus has been there. There's somebody in your life that maybe has some Major Payne going on and let me tell you if you didn't get any more pain in the cross and the wrath of God. He took it. This Christmas is about the time of giving and the greatest gift that you can give is Christ. Sometimes it's a lot easier to give a gift and walk away. It is just sit and talk about Jesus.

That's your ministry Church.

My job is a pastor to equip the Saints for Ministry. Church is your ministry to go out and talk about Jesus? Be encouraged you're afraid he's been there. He knows what it's like and never leave. You never forsake you and promise you the holy spirit will give you the power to make a difference in someone else's life because of him and it's through him alone all the glory to him and God the Father.
