Part of the miracle of salvation is to move us from the kingdom of darkness and to translate into the Kingdom of God.
Satan is the prince of the kingdom of darkness and by being a part of that kingdom makes you to fall unto his authority.
The scripture notes that he is the prince of the power of the air, which means that his dominion is in this atmospheric portion of our existence.
He is the source of all of the problems and ills of this world; he is behind every sickness and disease; every sin and unrighteous activity; he is the source of all evil and hatred.
But, the good news is that Jesus came to redeem us from the authority of darkness and translate us into the kingdom of righteousness.
Paul writes of Jesus in
Therefore, those who are born-again can boast that they are not of this kingdom, but are from another kingdom.
Even, in the same way that Jesus stated that He was not of this kingdom, but from another kingdom.
Thus, whenever He approached any situation, He came with the authority of the Heavenly Kingdom of God with Him that enabled Him to enforce His will on earth.
It is the Kingdom of God that has the greater authority the kingdom of this world.
The Kingdom of God expresses the will, desire, and pleasure of God; it expresses the reign and extent of His reign.
This is why Jesus would state that the Kingdom of Heaven was at hand whenever He ministered and in similar fashion, He directed His disciples to do the same.
it is written in
Whenever the kingdom of God is nigh, the power of God is the dominant force.
We represent the kingdom of God on earth and we have been given the authority to enforce the will of God in every situation and circumstance.
Therefore, we have been given the authority to perform miracles, signs, and wonders.
A miracle is the evidence of a supernatural occurence.
Miracles happen when all earthly possibilities are exhausted.
Miracles defy natural occurence and miracles are not subject to natural laws.
Miracles are proof of a greater power and authority; miracles are evidence of God’s action.
Signs are predictors and indicators of a supernatural presence.
Therefore, signs can be prophetic indicators of futuristic occurences.
Signs can also indicate that the supernatural will of God is on display.
Thus, a sign may be an unusual occurence upon a natural object.
A sign may express the imprint of the presence of God or an impression of His will.
Signs may appear on a natural object and signs may appear in the atmosphere.
Signs are visible to the naked eye, which mean that signs can appear to both the natural and spiritual man.
Wonders are supernatural happenings that causes a feeling of exhilaration to a person.
Wonders give you that wow effect.
Wonders are designed to give evidence of the existence of God and proof of His handy work.
Wonders will challenge a person’s logic and cause them to question their humanity.
Wonders are evidence of a spiritual existence of God.
Wonders will dazzle the mind and heart of a person.
Wonders may appear magical, but does not involve witchcraft.
Wonders are all God and none of man.
The three things, miracles, signs, and wonders, God empowers the believers to do with the authority of His word.
Jesus states that signs should follow the believer, which mean that as we share the good news of Jesus, there should be an act of power that happens due to the exertion of His kingdom on earth.
Basically, our faith can challenge any situation and cause miracles, signs, and wonders to happen.
We must be like Paul has stated in our lesson text; don’t just utter lifeless words, but words filled with faith and power, which have demonstration working in the background.
You carry the Kingdom of God in you and with you; and, it’s time for you to use it to advance the will of God.
Sin and sickness is running rampant upon the earth because the saints are not enforcing the will of God on earth.
Therefore, I challenge you to use your power; use the name of Jesus and cause something to happen.
Miracles, Signs, and Wonders; don’t just talk about it, but be about it!!!
