It Provides Perfect Reproof
33.417 ἐλέγχω; ἔλεγξις, εως f; ἐλεγμός, οῦ m: to state that someone has done wrong, with the implication that there is adequate proof of such wrongdoing—‘to rebuke, to reproach, rebuke, reproach.’
Reproof is conviction. This is not simply a rebuke; it is demonstrating some truth beyond dispute.
It Provides Perfect Correction
72.16 ἐπανόρθωσις, εως f: to cause something to be or to become correct, with the implication of a previous condition of faults or failures—‘to correct, correcting faults.’ πᾶσα γραφὴ … ὠφέλιμος … πρὸς ἐπανόρθωσιν ‘all Scripture … is useful … for correcting faults’ 2 Tm 3:16.
The meaning is, that the Scriptures are a powerful means of reformation, or of putting men into the proper condition in regard to morals.
It Provides Perfect Instruction in Righteousness
33.226 παιδεύωa; παιδείαa, ας f: to provide instruction, with the intent of forming proper habits of behavior—‘to teach, to instruct, to train, teaching, instruction.’45παιδεύωa : ἐπαιδεύθη Μωϋσῆς ἐν πάσῃ σοφίᾳ Αἰγυπτίων ‘Moses was trained in all the wisdom of the Egyptians’ Ac 7:22.
παιδείαa: ὠφέλιμος … πρὸς παιδείαν τὴν ἐν δικαιοσύνῃ ‘useful … for instruction in right living’ 2 Tm 3:16.
