Using Knowledge in Prayer

Tyvone, Joe, .... Last week with Michelle,
And The Holy Ghost inside of me Said......
2 Peter 1:1 MEV
1 Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have received a faith as precious as ours through the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ.
2 Peter 1:2–3 MEV
2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. 3 His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who has called us by His own glory and excellence,
Grace and Peace (Define) are multiplied to me Fade in Through the Knowledge
His divine power............Fade in Through the knowledge.
Two Greek Words Translated Knowledge
gnosis: science, doctrine, learning (Book Knowledge)
epignosis: Full Knowledge, Definite knowledge, (Intimate Knowledge).
Berkeley Translation........through the intimate acquaintance,
Wuest Translation.......in the sphere of and by the experiential knowledge,
Explain: Taking book knowledge into the presence of the Holy Spirit. He makes it come alive, so the Grace and Peace barrow I am working out of, is enlarged.
39 Times: Book Knowledge, (Doctrine) (Extremely Valuable) I take it into the presence of Jesus, and then........
2 Peter 1:4 MEV
4 by which He has given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, so that through these things you might become partakers of the divine nature and escape the corruption that is in the world through lust.
John 5:1–3 MEV
1 After this there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 2 Now in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate there is a pool, which in Hebrew is called Bethesda, having five porches. 3 In these lay a great crowd of invalids, blind, lame, and paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water.
A crowd: ( a great multitude)
Multitude
John 5:3 MEV
3 In these lay a great crowd of invalids, blind, lame, and paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water.
MULTITUDES, WAITING FOR THE MOVING OF THE WATER
There are hurting multitudes today,
WAITING FOR THE MOVING OF THE SPIRIT!
Fade in.
John 5:4 MEV
4 For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water. After the stirring of the water, whoever stepped in first was healed of whatever disease he had.
Wonderful, but limited, oh so limited.
John 5:5–6 ESV
5 One man was there who had been an invalid for thirty-eight years. 6 When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had already been there a long time, he said to him, “Do you want to be healed?”
Vs 5. That is a long time to be sick. ( Why do we always talk about healing?) It’s easy to focus on, (You can’t really fake healing) but also, Jesus paid for it., but remember Jesus paid for much more. 38 years is a long time to be sick, lame, in fear, broke, out of peace, hurting....
Vs 6. Fade in saw him. There is a multitude. yet Jesus sees him. and then Fade in knew, Read....
Why would Jesus ever ask a man sitting among a multitude, waiting for a move of the water, Do you want to be healed?
Knew:
gnosis: science, doctrine, learning (Book Knowledge)
epignosis: Full Knowledge, Definite knowledge, (Intimate Knowledge).
Knew:
gnosis: science, doctrine, learning (Book Knowledge)
This was a learned knowledge: How did Jesus learn? The man told him. (conversation)
Jesus through intimacy, knew the will of the Father.
So He asked the man. “Do you want to be healed?
John 5:7–8 MEV
7 The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred. But while I am coming, another steps down before me.” 8 Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.”
Vs 7, At this moment, Jesus has several options.
He could wait on the move of the water and get someone to help the man into the water.
He could part the multitude so the man could get there himself.
He could pray the prayer of faith......right there.
All good workable options, But,
Jesus ( I only do what I see the Father do) says here’s the plan.
Vs 8
John 5:9 MEV
9 Immediately the man was healed, took up his bed, and walked. That day was the Sabbath.
Chest Pains if time. God’s word. At that moment I was made whole. It just took another 24 hours to manifest.
1 Corinthians 14:26 MEV
26 How is it then, brothers? When you come together, every one of you has a psalm, a teaching, a tongue, a revelation, and an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification.
Prayer Time
What Has The Moving of the Spirit Laid on Your Heart?
A Prayer Need? A Song? A Scripture? A Revelation? A Tongue? An Interpretation?
Let All things Be Done for Edification.
