My Life For Your Life
Paul has been celebrating and blessing God for all that has been done.
He Exalted Us.
He Choose Us.
He Adopted Us.
He Redeemed Us.
He Made the Mystery of His Will known to Us.
He Put His Mark on Us. (Gave us the holy spirit.)
Now Paul is praising God for the practical outworking of the all that has been done.
There ought to be some evidence that you have been with God, touched by God or a child of God.
Paul said having heard of their faith and love he can’t help but to thank God.
Paul is thankful for their faith.
Literally, the down among you faith.
not just their initial act of saving faith.
day by day faith.
Crossing the frozen lake in the mountains. we only had so much time to reach the top of the mountain.
the one group became 3, they thought we were crossing a snow covered field to reach the base of the mountain.
they thought we were crossing a snow covered field to reach the base of the mountain.there were 3 groups that day.
there were 3 groups that day.
Those who went across the frozen lake with faith.
Those who went across the lake without faith.
Those who took the long way.
The only ones who enjoyed the beauty at the top of the mountain were those who had faith.
The evidence of our faith is love being shown to all believers.
This faith resulted in love being shown to all believers.
This love was produced in the heart of believers who yielded to the Holy Spirit
they will know you are my disciples by the love you all for each other.
Keep fervert in your love/ literally means stretched out.
The idea is that love that is extended to reach the one loved.if you love me like you say you love me then love is extended to reach the one loved.
so even with my faults love is extended. when we see faults it begins to define out love.
love covers my faults from the sight of others.
not gossip.
love covers a multitude of faults.
My love for my sister.
As a church our faith and love has been and is been challenged.
The definition of love does not change.
Love and Faith is what sums up all ministries.
