The story about the man trying to get the bird into the barn.
This man had limitations.
Even before man knew he needed God, God knew man needed him.
Nobody said to God, Lord we need you to wrap yourself in humanity, travel out of eternity and place yourself in present time, history in order to pay the debt man owes so that we might be redeemed.
Nobody on earth gave couciled to God and suggested, they want make it on earth unless you interceed on their behalf.
It was way back in the beginning of time for all humanity.
Scripture says, before the very foundation of the world, God already knew he would have to come on the scene to repair what Adam broke in Garden.
What did he brake preacher?
Adam broke the fellowship man had with God, and get this God knew before Adam broke the fellowship, he, God would have to leave eternity and come into present time to reconcile man back into proper fellowship with himself.
This is why he, God had Isaiah to prophesy about it.
And in our text tonight Matthew picks up on what Isaiah prophesied.
None of this happens just because.
It's not by chance or happenstance, that God decides to leave eternity and for a moment dwell in the present.
God had a plan, Christmas is about Gods plan being unfolded before all of humanity.
Most people get excited around this time of year.Giving of gifts, expression of love, joy, and good cheer.
But, for those of us who have been born again, washed by his blood, for those who have been redeemed by God.
We understand it is about God's plan.
The invention of Christmas has created an annual season.
Something that happens every year, for about 30 days.
Between Thanksgiving and Christmas while most people are excited about time.
Those of us who have been born again, washed by his blood, for those who have been redeemed by God.
We get excited because God is reminding us of his plan

God with us.
Emmanuel- was reconizable among the those who understood Hebrew.
, there is no need for an intepretation because those reading it understand Hebrew.
Here, in Matthew although quoting Isaiah’s prophecy, he understands there word is not just for the Hebrews.
fast forward to , the inscription for the place where Jesus was crucified was written in Hebrew, Latin and in Greek.
In other words when God stepped out of eternity into present time for a moment, he had all of us in mind.
When he showed up nobody had a monoply on God.
He showed up with a gift for the black man, white man, red man, yellow man and the brown man.
Emmanuel is translated in the Gentile tongue, God with us.Everybody is welcomed; we are all invited.
God with us.
Not an representative from God; Not someone who is like God.
God with us; which means everything that he is
In all of his righteousness, his glory, his infinite power he humbles himself to take on the nature of the very thing he create; Man.
God does this so that he could be united with those who are unrighteous, those who have no glory and operate with limited power.
Look at the humility of God
