How do you see the glory of Christmas?

Watch for the Messiah

Simeon was waiting for the Consolation of Israel.
Isaiah 40:1–5 ESV
Comfort, comfort my people, says your God. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and cry to her that her warfare is ended, that her iniquity is pardoned, that she has received from the Lord’s hand double for all her sins. A voice cries: “In the wilderness prepare the way of the Lord; make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be lifted up, and every mountain and hill be made low; the uneven ground shall become level, and the rough places a plain. And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together, for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”
The Holy Spirit revealed that he would get to witness Christ.
Are you looking for Christ this season?

Worship

Christ is the God’s salvation provided for us.
Christ is the light in our darkness. When you are discouraged, look to the Savior.
Christ is the glory that will not fade away! God’s glory was returning to the Temple for the first times since the days of Ezekiel, but most missed him. Simeon worshipped him.
What will you do with Jesus? He reveals the heart.

Witness

Anna praised God then began to share the good news with everyone who was looking for the “redemption of Jerusalem.”
