Living Redeemed 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? We must remember always that with Christ as our Redeemer, He has ransomed us from the powers of sin and the influences of the world. Since we have been ransomed by His blood, we now belong to Him. He has bought us for Himself. If we belong to Him, we do not belong to ourselves, or the world. We have been ransomed so that we can serve Him and honour Him. We have been redeemed so we can receive all the blessings God has promised. We must proclaim that we are His purchased servants and have given up our own rights and desires. If we hold on to what we were, and the desires of the world, we are denying His right as Redeemer and reclaiming our own lives for ourselves. We must understand the danger of being among those who deny the fact that He has redeemed us. If we are His redeemed servants we must serve Him, and Him alone.
