Help For Today

v.11 Grace of God

appeared = evident, manifested

Salvation is offered to all people

v.12 In the present age = in our life today

grace and truth leading us from the kingdom of the world into His Kingdom and right living.

Becoming more like Jesus today

Hope For Tomorrow

v.13 while we wait - waiting for the return of Jesus - our Savior

v.14 Jesus redeems, buys back, rescues and restores

Big Idea: In Jesus we find help for today and hope for tomorrow.

Our help for today is God’s grace, His truth - both embodied in Jesus Christ our Savior.

Jesus rescues us and changes us today.

Our hope for tomorrow - Jesus returning for his own.

While we wait - not just sitting around watching for Him to come back, but actively growing, changing, becoming more like Jesus Christ, and doing His good works - loving others.
