Shifting In The Spirit
We Serve A God That Is Progressive & Proactive,
He’s Forever Moving And Changing Things
To Advance His Kingdom And His People.
Progressive: Moving forward; Proceeding in steps; continuing steadily by increments: Promoting or favoring progress toward better conditions or new policies, ideas, or methods.
Proactive: Acting in advance to deal with an expected difficulty; anticipatory.
The Lord Told Elijah
I Ki.17:3 Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. 4And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there. 5So he went and did according unto the word of the LORD: for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith,
And Again The Lord Said To Elijah
I Ki.17:9 Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.
The Lord Was Shifting Elijah To Another Level Because Elijah Wasn’t Ashamed Of His God
Paul Declares Unto Us:
Rom.1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, the just shall live by faith.
Note: It’s this power of not being ashamed that enables us to develop in Gods Salvation Plan.
And in that developing plan of salvation we come to understand the righteousness of God.
God Starts Off Developing Our Faith.
Some Of You Are Now In The Process Of Shifting In Your Faith, Going To Different Levels Of Faith.
2 Tim.2:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.
King David Got So Caught Up With God In Nature That He Made This Bold Statement
Ps.139:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.
Then There’s The Shift From Faith To Glory
Heb.11:1 (TLB) What is faith? It is the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen. It is the certainty that what we hope for is waiting for us, even though we cannot see it up ahead.
Note: Went You Have Mature In The Area Of Faith Then There’s The Shifting Level Of Glory
II Cor.3:16 But whenever anyone turns to the Lord from his sins, then the veil is taken away.
Note: The Veil Of Unbelief
II Cor.3:17 The Lord is the Spirit who gives them life (Faith), and where he is there is freedom from trying to be saved by keeping the laws of God (Or Human
Strength). 18But we Christians have no veil over our faces; we can be mirrors that brightly reflect the glory of the Lord.
Note: This Is Why Jesus Said To Peter:
Lk.22:31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: 32But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted (From Faith To Glory), strengthen thy brethren.
There’s A Weight Applied To Glory
II Cor.4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
When You Shift To The A Level Of Glory
Your Focus Changes From Temporal To Eternal
II Cor.4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Joseph Reached That Level
Gen.50:19 And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of God?
Note: The Place of Glory To Command Things.
Gen.41:41 Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou.
II Cor.3:18 And as the Spirit of the Lord works within us, we become more and more like him.
