As we dig into Luke's gospel account of the Christmas story, we find something like a Broadway musical with Luke's narration intertwined with songs of joy from those who encountered love come down in the form of Christ. As the first of these, Mary's song has lessons for us to learn about finding the joy of what God provides in the midst of meager circumstances.
