INTRODUCTION

CHANGING WHILE WALKING WITH THE UNCHANGEABLE GOD
; Maal.3:6; ; ; ; ;
Change is something that happens to everything under the sun. And change is a very important occurrence in life. You have heard that passage of the Bible that says, meddle not with those that are given to change (). The Bible is not teaching that change is wrong, but that changing negatively is wrong. Changing the old landmarks, changing the eternal word of God, changing the biblical principles of living, trying to change God’s divine purposes for human beings, is wrong. The Bible is against negative change. But positive change is not only desirable but necessary in many areas of our daily walk with God.

(1) NEGATIVE CHANGE BRINGS GOD’S JUDGEMENT

Pov.24:21; ; ;
Negative change is wrong and disastrous and is carried out by those upon whom the wrath of God is revealed. Negative change attracts God’s righteous judgement. What is negative change?
Changing the Word of God is negative change
Changing the Truth of God is negative change
Changing the Institutions of God is negative change
Changing the Original creation of God is negative change
Changing the Institutional worship of the Creator is negative change.
God has revealed His wrath upon man as a result of this. Because of this He has given these people up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts. How many marriages do you witness per week in this country, or even per month? Per year? Aren’t there grown up, marriageable people around? Aren’t there people who like to get married? O yes, there are. But you won’t witness marriages. Because they have changed the plan of God for marriage to accommodate their lusts. They promote anti-Bible principles to accommodate their unnatural desires. They have changed the truth of God to lie and lasciviousness. God has given them up. Their population will decline. Their enemy will possess their coasts. Meddle not with people like this. These are people who are given to negative change.

(2) POSITIVE CHANGE THAT BRINGS GOD’S BLESSINGS

; ; ; ;
God is not a man that He should lie, nor the son of man that He should repent. When the Bible talks about God repenting as in , it is talking about God changing the purpose, that has been purposed against His people.
God commands us to change for our good. Change and turn to the right direction. Repent means change (; ); to turn around. The Kingdom of heaven is a New thing. You have to repent and turn around to be able to enter therein. The people understood what John meant when he told them to repent.
Change – Repent from your sins and change the way you did things in the past (). Change your desires; Change your practices of your lifestyle; Change your likes and dislikes to align with God’s likes and dislikes; Change the way you prayed in 2018 to something better and higher in 2019; Change your attitude towards people – do not longer be selective in love; Love people for the sake of Christ, even if they don’t agree with you.
From the first day of January 2019, we have sanctified a fast and we are calling the entire Church to a solemn assembly. Everyday of that month we are going to gather here at 7.00pm to pray for one hour each day.
Make it a point that each day in January 2019, you gather here with the rest of the Church. We will be sowing in righteousness and reaping in mercy. We will be breaking up our fallow grounds. We will be seeking the Lord till comes and rains righteousness and mercy upon us.
Though you are already enjoying some mercy drops, there shall be showers of blessings.
Change the way you attended fellowship this passing year to something far better this coming year;
Change the way you served the Lord this passing year to something better this coming year; Change your level of commitment and dedication to the work of god in the Church this passing year to a higher and better level this coming year.
When you do, your mouth shall be filled with testimony after testimony after testimony as we transit in to the New Year!
