Recognizing Jesus as Sacrifice, Savior, and Sword.

Jesus is our Sacrifice, Who Reveals Our Purity.

Ritual uncleanness allowed for a time of purification, rest, and separation. According to the Law of Moses—God’s Word, ritual cleansing required washing and waiting (Swindoll, 74). This protected woman and new born child from exposure to diseases common among the general population.
When we obey God’s rule of law, we enjoy more freedom from sickness, mortality, and health issues. God guides us in His will and ways for our good will reveal HIs lory among the nations.
Hebrews 9:12 NASB95
and not through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood, He entered the holy place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.
Hebrews 9:
Isaiah 52:14 NASB95
Just as many were astonished at you, My people, So His appearance was marred more than any man And His form more than the sons of men.
Isaiah 59:2 NASB95
But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, And your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear.
Obedience to God’s Word, reveals our acceptance of Jesus’ sacrifice for us. Individual and family. Mary and Joseph obey God’s Word.

Jesus is our Savior, Who Reveals Our Glory.

Isaiah 49:6 NASB95
He says, “It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant To raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also make You a light of the nations So that My salvation may reach to the end of the earth.”
Is
Jesus is our comfort in affliction of sin. First, sin that separates us from God, and then sin that separates us from one another. God reveals our Glory by putting us into service.

Jesus is the Sword, Who reveals the thoughts of our heart.

Luke 12:51–52 NASB95
“Do you suppose that I came to grant peace on earth? I tell you, no, but rather division; for from now on five members in one household will be divided, three against two and two against three.
Luke 12:51
Stay close and clean, so that you can stay clean and clear of future entanglements.
Hebrews 12:1–3 NASB95
Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
