With a new year around the corner, we’re going to spend the next few weeks on the wonderful and comforting words in Isaiah 40. It’s a great part of Scripture to remind us of our inherent insignificance, but also the amazing significance we are given by God in Jesus Christ. We begin with verses 1-11 and the comfort that is found in God’s glory, God’s word and God’s mighty & tender arm. By his character and coming, we are both comforted ourselves and able to comfort others with the same good news.
