Traditions point us to the righteous One, but do not make us righteous

Research Studies have shown that kinetic tools like a rosary are very powerful items that reinforce the prayers into our consciousness. The physical and tactical touch of the object ingrains the prayer or the meditative thought deeper into our psyche as it reinforces the awareness.
Candles and incense have a similar effect, and therefore the repititious use of items during religious worship is very impactful. There are many churches that use liturgy, such as weekly reciting the Lord’s Prayer and the Apostle’s Creed. The repeated or traditional citation of such texts have a long term and powerful impact upon the individual in feeling closer to God.
There are benefits to certain traditions and routines. There is a spiritual comfort in saying the Nicene Creed with your fellow church members and knowing that the affirmation has been said in worldwide Christian worship for 1700 years.
The NT gives some Traditions like, “Always greet each other with a holy kiss”. This has not been largely used as young pretty girls were recipients of a majority share of kisses.
The sacrament of Communion is a traditional element of worship as Paul instructed “As often as you gather”.
