What is Bandwidth
What is Bandwidth
One of the most dreaded symbols in our society today: No WiFi Connection!
band·width
1. The transmission capacity of a computer network or other telecommunication system.
/ˈbandˌwidTH/
nounELECTRONICS
noun: bandwidth; plural noun: bandwidths
1.
the range of frequencies within a given band, in particular that used for transmitting a signal.
the transmission capacity of a computer network or other telecommunication system.2.
the energy or mental capacity required to deal with a situation.
"he lives alone, and says he doesn't have the bandwidth to handle a steady relationship"
2. The energy or mental capacity required to deal with a situation.
Bandwidth is like different kinds of roads
A freeway will allow the same number of cars to pass a given point more quickly because it has more lanes.
The deeper and wider the connections we have, the more quickly things can be shared
information, emotions, care, ideas, etc.
How many of you would want to know if there was something that was in your life that was hurting you or other people and you didn’t know it was even there?
How many of you might get a little offended if a total stranger came up to you and began telling you what you need to change?
Parenting, Marriage, Style, food choices, etc.
Do you have enough bandwidth in relationship that you can tell others what must be said?
Do you have enough bandwidth in relationship to receive what you need to hear from others?
How about from Jesus?
Synapses are the connecting points between your 100 billion brain cells. You have trillions of synapses in your brain, and your brain cells communicate with one another across them
Do you walk around talking about how close you and Jesus are, but don’t actually know Him?
If we say we know someone really well, but don’t know much about them (likes/dislikes; favorite color; favorite food; things they hate; what they would never do, etc) would anyone believe us?
Creating Connections & Increasing Bandwith
Creating Connections & Increasing Bandwith

24 A man who has friends must himself be friendly, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
21 And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.” 22 No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary. 23 And those members of the body which we think to be less honorable, on these we bestow greater honor; and our unpresentable parts have greater modesty, 24 but our presentable parts have no need. But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it, 25 that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another.
1cor12:21

25 that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another.
When there is schism, there is broken communication and zero bandwidth
35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
Love can ONLY be seen through Interpersonal CONNECTION
1 cor13
4 Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily.
5 It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God’s love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong].
6 It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail.
7 Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening].
8 Love never fails [never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end]. As for prophecy (the gift of interpreting the divine will and purpose), it will be fulfilled and pass away; as for tongues, they will be destroyed and cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away [it will lose its value and be superseded by truth].
Love takes the needed time to develop deep and lasting relationship connections - it is persistent!

15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
Meet Together = “Complete Collection”
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
