As we look back at 2018. For some it might have been a year of peace and joy..

but for others… It might have been a year filled with :

regret

envy

Depression

A five minute invitation from a me, is not going to make these things go way....

But an INVITATION FROM CHRIST, found in will grant you an avenue, to peace, greater than you have ever known...

I (CHRIST YOUR SAVIOR) have said these things to you (My Disciples), that IN ME (Christ your Savior) you (as Disciples) may have PEACE. In the World, you will have tribulation. But take heart; I (your KING and Savior) have over come ( and conquered) the world.

This scripture tells me, if I am IN CHRIST I will have PEACE...

ONE’s TRUE HAPPINESS is 100% predicated on a 2 letter work..... IN

The word IN - means you have CHANGE THE FOCUS AND COURSE OF YOUR LIFE

YOUR HAVE CHRIST AS YOUR FOCUS - And one of the benefits is, IT GRANTS YOU PEACE…

and scars...

story of focus...

This Reminds me of a story.....

There was a member of a church…

After a sermon, he came up to the an ELDER and said… I am done with this place

People in the auditorium

don’t keep their kids in check

people are on their phones texting

people clip their finger nails

people talk during the lesson..

I’v had enough!!!

The Elder, knowing the preacher used the ESV translation said, stay for one more service. And I want you to tell me, everytime the Preacher says THEE or THOU... I will give you $100 dollars for each one.

The member was EXCITED to make some money… he stayed for the second sermon and listened intently…

After the Lesson was over, the member (with a sad face) came to the ELDER and said… “He didn’t say THEE or THOU” once...

The Elder said “I know but.... more importantly-

Did John get his kids to calm down?

Did Fred clip his nails again?

Did Sally text during the lesson?

Were Jason and Michelle talking again?

The member said, I don’t know, I was focused on the preacher.....

The ELDER smiled and said, - ”Exactly....“

You Focused because you realized you had something to possibly GAIN..

When you see the VALUE in listening to GOD’s word and Understand you have Christ to Gain,

You will FOCUS on what is important and the other worldly things won’t matter..

As we look back on 2018… Do we see it as a year of PEACE and JOY because we FOCUSED on being IN CHRIST??

The person very excited and FOCUSED on the second lesson,

OR Were there thing that distracted us from the PEACE and JOY That can be found in Christ...

WHEN YOU LOOK BACK, was it a year of :

But an INVITATION FROM CHRIST, found in will grant you an avenue to peace greater than you have ever known...

CHRIST tells me, when I am IN HIM and FOCUSED ON HIM, he is BIGGER than my… FILL IN THE BLANK...

HE IS BIGGER THAN MY FEAR

HE IS BIGGER THAN MY ANXIETY...

THE KEY TO JOY AND PEACE in 2019 is found IN and ONLY IN CHRIST...

In CHRIST, you can find TRUE comfort in your TRIALS...

IF you are Baptized, but are letting the worries of the world pull your focus away - You need to RE-FOCUS on Christ..

If you are NOT BAPTIZED but understand your sinful state … YOU NEED TO BE BAPTIZED

anxiety

YOU CAN ONLY BE IN CHRIST IF YOU HAVE PUT HIM ON IN BAPTISM and THEN and ONLY THEN will you have HIS PEACE available to you.
