What are you Looking For

so many of us will be looking for something this year ( girlfriend, boyfriend, job, friends, fun, etc) , but is it the right thing to be looking for this year.

What do these few verses reveal to us about God?

Why we need to be looking for God

God is Faithful to the end!

mercies never cease ( the original can’t stop ; won’t stop )

Faithfulness

steadfastness; trustworthiness; faithfulness;honest; ( permanent) official duty

mercies begin afresh each morning

new life in a game ( a comfort in the morning )

God loves to be depended on!

time and time again we see God asking his people to trust in him ( depend on him )

why is that? Because he never fails!

God is good to those who look for him!

2 Chronicles 7:9 ESV

9 And on the eighth day they held a solemn assembly, for they had kept the dedication of the altar seven days and the feast seven days.

truly seeking him in everything we do. Trying to find God for the answer.

So you have to ask yourself, what am i looking for?

Are you looking for that next fleeting desire or want, or are you wanting to seek the one and only thing in your life that has the ability to bless your life beyond all you can think or imagine.
