SM -
1) Come up with one truth and two lies.
2) How do you know something is true?
3) How do we know we are going to heaven?
We – are sure, that we are all at Fc3 today, right? Being sure of something is kind of hard at times. Taking test isn’t something I was really good at...
ILL - Put an object behind a screen and do you still believe it is there?
T.S. - When we put our faith in Jesus we are forgiven and called kids of God, but have you ever seen God?
Bible -
Hebrews 11:1 NIV
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
You – will be challenged through out life about what you believe is true about your faith. When those times come even when you can’t see God will you still have faith in him? Faith is believing, He is their, even when you haven’t seen him.
We – have to decide what have I put my faith in, is it Jesus? Faith is something that makes followers of Jesus so different. They believe in kindness, love, and hope when everyone else sees all the bad. Do you have confidence in Jesus!
PRAYER - Lord teach me to have a faith that is always found in you.
