Matthew 9:14–17 NIV
14 Then John’s disciples came and asked him, “How is it that we and the Pharisees fast often, but your disciples do not fast?” 15 Jesus answered, “How can the guests of the bridegroom mourn while he is with them? The time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; then they will fast. 16 “No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, for the patch will pull away from the garment, making the tear worse. 17 Neither do people pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”
Matt 9:14-17

1. Success in the new year requires a new attitude

Can’t look at your future with the past on your mind
Can’t move forward while looking backwards
Time to change the stinking thinking
Time to dream big dreams
Time to wake up and pursue those dreams
Expansion requires new focus

2. Time to clear the FOG

Fear keeps you from believing in a Big God
Do not oppose what God is showing you
Do not hold a Grudge against your past

3. You can’t change the past

Stop living in yesterday
The heartaches of yesterday are done
You are here because you survived your worst days
So far, you have survived your worst days

4. We need to be new wineskins for Expansion

The old can’t hold the new
There is a new way to triumph over fear
There is a new way to triumph over trouble
Expansion is coming to the new vessels
There is a new way to triumph

5. Faith in Jesus is our new way to Expansion

We need to be in the flow of His Spirit
He is pouring fresh wine
He is giving fresh revelation
You’ve been praying for it, now it’s time to receive it
Enlarge my territory
Focus on the Mission
Pray for our vision
