Show us the Father
Show us the Father
Why is the God of the Old Testament seeming different than the New?
Gen 19 23 -26 Sodom
the Judgments of God
the time God destroys country's
the commandments
the not following of the comm. and the punishments
why does the Father seem cruel and the Son loving
all through the old testament we see the hated sin, being punished
the wages of sin is death
is there a time when you were misjudged?
or you misjudged someone else?
Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.”
God the Father, Son, And Holy Spirit have been together since eternity
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
for three years Jesus was showing the disciples, The Father
The Window of Love Has Been Opened
The Window of Love Has Been Opened
Jesus shows us the love of God
the sacrifice of God
The healing God, touching the untouchable
Compassionate
Jesus and the Father are One
Jesus and the Father are One
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
God hates sin, sin has to be punished to the fullest
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
God is Just and love
has to judge sin but also not willing that any should perish
People need to learn first of the wrath of God
We cant separate the personalities of The Father and the Son
So on account of this the Jews were seeking even more to kill him, because he not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God his own Father, thus making himself equal with God.
Know God
Know God
If we want to know the Father Study the Son, Jesus said I and my father are 1
As we continue in John we will Know God
Don’t misjudge the Father
Jesus is just as much God as the Father
Who better to tell us about God than God Himself
Telling something about you that was not right
it’s best to hear from yourself
Jesus brought to us the knowledge of who God is
