January 27-30 from lunch to lunch.
Prayer Times Monday/Tuesday 6-7pm
We all have the desire to be happy.
We all have the desire to be happy.
We end the year with “Happy Holidays” / “Merry Christmas”
We begin the year with “Happy New Year”
Every birthday we are wished: “Happy Birthday”
In a few weeks - “happy valentine’s day.”
In a few months - “happy St. Patrick’s day.”
Then wedding season - we hope the married couple will be happy!
Happy 4th of July… Let’s light some pretend bombs.
Speaking of July 4th - that little document we celebrate - it’s got a phrase we should all have memorized:
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
YET in spite of our well wishing for happy - we aren’t as happy as we used to be.
In America we are TWICE as wealthy as we were 50 years ago. But studies report we are less happy.
