Galatians 5:7 NIV
You were running a good race. Who cut in on you to keep you from obeying the truth?
Galatians 5:

Who cut in on you?

“Go the whole way” There is a saying that I heard many times within the realm of College Bible Classes when it comes to living in the flesh. It follows the prodigal son. - The prodigal spent everything, there was a famine, he began to be in need, hired himself out, he longed to fill his stomach, but no one gave him anything.

When he came to his senses -

The Book of Galatians Fellowship in Sharing (Verses 6–8)

Fellowship in Sharing (verses 6–8). These verses speak of Christian generosity and of the fellowship we observe in that generosity. Again as above, we see first a specific application and then the general principle on which that instruction is built.

Fellowship in Sharing

The Book of Galatians Fellowship in Sharing (Verses 6–8)

More than appreciation is involved, for by supporting the minister there is also participation in his ministry

Galatians 6:6–10 NIV
Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word should share all good things with their instructor. Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
Galatians 6:
A teacher serving the student should benefit from the fellowship with their student.
Concept: Paul should receive their partnership. Paul, the teacher, should expect to reap a harvest from the churches in Galatia.
A teacher serving the student should benefit from the fellowship with their student.
Paul’s message of faith and walking in the
Warning: Sow to please the flesh reaps destruction. Sow to please the Spirit reaps eternal life.
Sow to please the Spirit reaps eternal life.
God’s timing: As a farmer waits for the harvest, the harvest of eternal life will come.
So, lets do good.

Share in Doing Good

Romans 2:7-
Romans 2:7–11 NIV
To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile; but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For God does not show favoritism.

Share in Hospitality

Romans 12:9-
Romans 12:9–13 NIV
Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.

Created for good works

Ephesians 2:8–10 NIV
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Ephesian 2:8-

Share in Living Worthy

Colossian 1:9-
Colossians 1:9–14 NIV
For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light. For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
