What is the one thing I want my audience to know?
Seeking Jesus in our life changes everything.
What do I want them to do about it?
Commit to letting Jesus be center of their personal life, their family, their work, and their relationships.
ME:
What a fun day today is! Thank you for being a part of our first service.
If we haven’t met yet, let me introduce myself, I’m Don Champion & I pastor Highmark Church.
Our team has been working for months to make this day happen and see Highmark established in this community.
While we’ve worked months on the launch of Highmark, Jamie and I have been praying about and anticipating this day now for a couple years.
More than that today is a day that has been years in the making.
Jamie and I were married just a couple exits down the highway in Castleton.
Since then we’ve pursued what God has for us as we’ve pastored in Michigan and Minnesota over the past 18years.
Now God has brought us here to launch and lead Highmark.
God has a sense of humor though… why?
A number of years ago my friend and fellow pastor Steve Bradshaw said to me “Don, you and Jamie should plant a church”.
And to that I quickly replied, “I WOULD NEVER”.
Yet here we are today :) So the lesson here is never say I would never…because God has ways of reminding us he’s in charge.
I know what some of you are thinking.
You’re going to try going around saying “GOD, I NEVER WANT TEN MILLION DOLLARS.”
“I
Please don’t be mistaken though.
Today is not about me, or us, or even about Highmark.
Today is about Jesus.
We are here to proclaim the powerful name of Jesus; to worship Him; and to help everyone to find and follow Him.

One of our values is to keep Jesus at the center.
WE:
We live in a busy, noisy and fast paced culture.
We can easily be distracted and detoured from what matters most.
Think about it.
We have to work to prioritize our family over or phones.
It’s so easy for our calendars to turn to chaos.
There are a lot of things we can center our life on.
There are a lot of ways we can prioritize things in our life
GOD:
WE:
YOU:
33 Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
WE:
YOU:
Are you pursuing your purpose?
