1. Jesus is fully God

He is divinity

Hunger, tired, pain, emotional trauma, joy, relaxing, laughter

Saving means voluntarily pursuing

He laid his life down, no one took it.

He is innocent and takes the punishment for the guilty

We don’t deserve anything, yet he goes further than that by continually serving us as mediator.

4. Jesus is the true King

He fulfills all the prophecies about the coming King

Lived perfect, from the royal line, promised miracles and signs and wonders, reveals truth about God, defeats the powers of this world through his death and ressurrection

He deserves everyone’s submission

Everything has been granted to Him ()

Real Jesus: hard and uncomfortable.

Remove God from Jesus’ title and we are left with many God’s (Mormons).

Or we are left to think that he was just a human that God used (JW, Islam)

BUT if Jesus only a man he would be sinful.

He couldn’t save anyone because he would need saving like the rest of us.

Remove Jesus’ humanity and he will be far from us.

He won’t know us closely or personally.

According to the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

And without Jesus’ servant blood to pay for it, we would have to step into that role

We can’t serve two masters, so if it isn’t Jesus then it is the Devil.

We can’t pick and choose and dissect

He is completely him.
