What is God Speaking to Us?

These are some scriptures that have been going on in my heart for this church, please be patient with me and read them carefully.

1 Corinthians 2:1–5 NIV

And so it was with me, brothers and sisters. When I came to you, I did not come with eloquence or human wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God. For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. I came to you in weakness with great fear and trembling. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.

I Corinthians

Matthew 28:18–20 NLT

Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

John 14:

John 14:12 NLT

“I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.

Mark 16:15–18 NLT

And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages. They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.”

Mark 16:15-

Acts

Acts 1:7–8 NLT

He replied, “The Father alone has the authority to set those dates and times, and they are not for you to know. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

All these verses stir my heart because they challenge me to see that God is bigger and that he has empowered me to act greater than who I am.

Do You Know What You are Made of?

I Corinthians

1 Corinthians 6:19–20 NLT

Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body.

In the Old Covenant presence of God lived in the temples, the Holy of Holies, but now God lives in you!

1 John 4:4 NKJV

You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

Where is God at? In you!!!!

Gods Power is in You

Power-Dunamis-

A miraculous power in you to live a miraculous God filled life.

The big question I have is are we willing to dig into what is in us?

Receive all of God, not just parts of God

Walk in Humility

Don’t just be a believer! Be a follower!

Be Obedient to God

Submit yourself to the Baptism of the Holy Spirit
