Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith;
or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching;
he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.
romans 12:6-
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.
For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function,
so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.

I just want to recap our last two weeks…
first we talked about commitment Issues
romans 12
I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
2. Acceptance Issues
Romans 12:3
For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned.
For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function,
That bring us to today which is entitled...
3. We Belong Together
Today we going to talk about

so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith;
if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching;
the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.
We belong together,
so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.
romans 12:
It’s amazing to me the number of people who call themselves Christians that are not apart of a local body. After reading scripture I ask myself how?
Because when I read scripture the only way I can Identify who I am in the in Christ is by being apart of the body. We can not know ourselves without being apart of the local body. Let me say it again we can’t be ourselves by ourself, a nose can’t be a nose just sitting on the table it has to be apart of the body in order to be useful.
Let me say it again we can’t be ourselves by ourself, a nose can’t be a nose just sitting on the table it has to be apart of the body in order to be useful.
someone is thinking all Preachers say that in order to get you to come to their church, But I’m not trying to get to to come to the church because dirt and water helps no one receive Christ. So I’m not trying to get you to come to church, I’m trying to get you To Be the Church.
If I am the Church why do we gather, why should I come, because you are not gathering for yourself but for the servicing of your brothers and sisters in Christ.
See at first we came to see how others can help me, but after while, after we have become that that living sacrifice, that is holy and acceptable to God we stop come to be server but start coming looking for who you can service.
once you start to be the church your worship starts to grow and now your worship involves service .

Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith;
is metaphor is a great one because everyone know what it’s like to have a body, and it’s easy to understand that you have fingers, eyes, mouth and ears, and even through they are all apart body they are all different.
Each and every believer has a different gift.
