Theme Verse:
Series Recap
Grow in Hope
Grow Deep Roots
Grow Up
and today we will be Growing Fruitful
Job’s Motive behind his words:
He was battling the worse pain anyone could imagine.
He was battling depression.
He had given up on life and his understanding of who God was.
He thought he was hopeless and when he mentioned the tree stump coming to life again he didn’t realize that He was the same as that stump and the he too could shoot forth his branches at the smell of spiritual rain.
We are like trees according to scripture
Now that we have become like trees we should behave like them
Trees are resilient
They are strong
They breathe in the bad and exhale good
They produce fruit in due season.
Galatians 5:16-2
What kind of fruit do you produce?
Being fruitful is more than just bearing the fruit of the spirit.
Winning souls to the kingdom of God is being fruitful
A good tree can’t produce bad fruit.
