Jesus went to his home space … where he had been brought up. Nazareth getting settled.

Jesus went to the Synagogue … as his custom

Custom- An accepted or habitual practice of long standing.

Jesus went to the Synagogue

And he preached in the Synagogue of Galilee.

Jesus went to the Scripture in the Synagogue

Given the book of the prophet Isaiah.

Several passages of Scripture that clearly point to the Savior.

Spoke and then sat down.

Jesus went to speak in the Synagogue

Connected the passage to Himself … I am Him.

This passage is fulfilled right now.

Confusion of the people saying isn’t this Joseph’s son?

preach the gospel to the poor- Powerful richness in Christ.

preach deliverance to the captives - not from Rome but from Sin

set at Liberty - set means - To send a way to a designated goal or purpose. Who at liberty the bruised- those who are weak and crushed in spirit.

Now is the time for Salvation. NOW!
