Today we are going to talk about why the Bible is so important, and also teach you how to go about reading it.
That being said, everybody will need a Bible.
If you don’t have a Bible with you, they have some in the back.
If you don’t own a Bible, see me afterwards. I’ll buy you one.
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God[a]may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

STEP #3: APPLY
STEP #3: APPLY
Other than Christ and your salvation, I believe the Bible is the most important thing you can possess. It’s more valuable than food and water, because it gives you a food and water that fills you more than you ever could have thought.
That being said, I am challenging each of you to read it.
Personal advice: Write it down, keep a journal. Be in it every day.
Talk to each other about it! “Every heretic who ever lived become one by not engaging God’s Word with the accountability of others” (Holsteen, Svigel, p.85)
Text me two questions about this Bible verse. Next week, I’m going to text you and ask you if you found the answer.
