I. A Priceless Commodity to Possess
Truth: Truth is not a just perspective even though it takes
perception

Understanding: Figure out how things work
These attributes combine to make for successful living. “Life is hard. Its harder when you’re stupid.” Though these do not refer to intelligence they are qualities that reflect God’s perspective on living. What we are ultimately buying is God’s way of looking at things.
II. A Practical Course
Spend Time: Time is a valuable commodity and everybody has the same
amount of time in a day: rich or poor. This makes buying
from God affordable no matter who you are.

We have our hands full of stuff and need to set it down to receive what God has for us. We need to give up to receive from God. God has a payment but it isn’t what you bring to the table, it is what you left behind. I want us to buy from God with desperation and a willingness to loose it all.

IV. The Challenge:
1) Substitute one hour this week of radio listening for listening to the Bible.
2) Substitute one of your prayers to praying scripture.
Adoration: Praising God for who he is and what he’s like
Confession: Acknowledging and turning from your sinfulness
Thanksgiving: Being grateful to God for his works and his gifts
Supplication: Asking God to help you
Consecration: Committing yourself to obeying God’s will
Intercession: Asking God to meet the needs of others
