: It begins with the “Sermon of the Mount.” It begins the conversation with all believers of the lifestyle that should be adopted upon being a followers. Upacking that the values of this world will not lead to freedom or blessings. That turning away from what the world offers and acceptng what God has for success in life. The teaching that follow really begin to show new values that we are to move into as foloowers. Because of this, It gives the book of Matthew (5-7) a good foundation for new living and values.

(10)Chapter 9 ends with the need for workers for God’s harvest. It begins with Jesus commissioning His disciples. These disiples - later called apostles, are given instructions for spreading the message of the Kingdom of heaven. The actions in chapter 10 begin to show the beginning of the kingdom of heaven (). When you consider the introduction of new values, it makes snesnce that chapter 10 is a discussion on what we are to do.
13 consist of eight parables. Jesus begins to compare the Kingdom of heaven to common situations of His day. They bring a very clear understanding to the Kingdom of Heaven to keep it relebent to all that he was teadhing.

(5-8) Chapters 5 - 7 begin withe Jesus’ Sermon on teh Mount, in which shows how we should live. This section gives instruction on what to value and how we are to respond being apart of the Kingdom of Heaven. It is a teaching on our values always expressing in our actions. This section also admonishes what we should expect. Since most of Jesus’ audience were very poor, it makes sense that that section would teach what to value and how to serve God faithly and that we can trust him to meet their material needs.
(10) Chapter 9 ends with the need for workers for the harvest while chapter 10 begin with Jesus commissioning His disciples. It teaches that the Gospel is for everyone. Jesus first extends His announcement of the kingdom of heaven to the Jews and their rejections leads to the Gentiles. After creating a new value system, learning how to live. Chapter 10 show that the Kingdome of Heaven is for everyone.
(13) This block of teaching consist of eight parables. Jesus used the parables and campares the kingdom of heaen to common situations of that day. It also teaches an amazing lesson in expectations. There will be times of rejection and peoples unbleife. He models His character in this and teaches how we need to respond and can identify with Christ.
(18) There are some powerful teachings in this chapter. We are shown how to embrace humility, the value of chrildren and the need for righteouse living.

Chapters 23-25 is the final of the five discourse sections from Matthew. Chapters 23 is divided in three parts essential for our commitment. (1) Warns hypocrisy and admonishing us to be humble. (2)Condemming the hypocraoy of the Pharisees and (3) Jesus’ deep love for Jerusalem. These teaching lead up to the end world and the return of the Son of Man for judgment. Which is appropriate when you see how the 5 discourses lead to this point in chapters 23 - 25.
