Has God’s grace touched your life?
Has His love changed you?
Has the gift of Jesus changed your eternity?
If so, you are called to share the same message which changed your life.
You have a mission to share your story and make disciples.
Are you keeping it to yourself…or are you sharing the message?
Let’s look closer this morning at vs. 18-20.
The demon posed man experienced 3 profound and life changing things that day when he encountered Jesus.
Grace was given
Love was given
Compassion was given
It all lead toward a mission that was given
Notice, he wanted to go with Jesus “begged Him that he might be with Him.”
We can be tempted to just stay what to stay in that sweet spot.
You know the place.
Church is a sweet spot.
I love the church, the people of God, who give encouragement, it feels safe here, a place of rest and a sanctuary.
However there is world outside these walls that need to hear the message that changed my life.
The message of Jesus Christ and the gospel that His life brought to me and this world.
Yet Jesus didn't allow the previously demon posed man to go with Him.
Instead God had a mission for Him.
To do the following...
GO - TELL - SHARE
Lets look closer at each mission.
GO - WHERE
Start at home.
Continue from there.
Where ever you go, go in the name of the Lord.
TELL - WHO
Start with your family.
Mark 5:19
Then your friends.
Then look for opportunities to tell others about what Jesus has done for you.
SHARE - WHAT
What is your message.
Notice what the message was to be when Jesus told the man to Go home to his friends, and tell them what....
What Great Things the Lord has done for you.
v.19
How He Had Compassion on you.
v. 19
