They had left the first love.
Whenever we become more impressed with our work for God than Christ’s work for us we leave our first love.
Whenever we place work before worship we leave our first love - the Martha Syndrome. Luke 10:38-
“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.
Deut. 6:
Remember.
Remember the motivation for the first works.
We give thanks to God always for all of you, constantly mentioning you in our prayers, remembering before our God and Father your work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Remember the joy of your salvation. You had to share it with others.
Repent
Redo

Christ’s Call and Commitment
Christ’s Call and Commitment
The call is to hear. The Holy Spirit is speaking even now through His Word.
The commitment is to grant fellowship to those who overcome.
And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.
Eat of the tree of life - fellowship with God.
