From the Recliner to the Throne

We sit at the recliner to sit out, we sit at the throne to rule!
We sit at the recliner to just let life go by, but the throne we cause life to happen.
Why because we are in a covenant with God. It a new covenant, a better covenant.

Jesus did not die so we can go to heaven, Jesus died so we can access heaven

Hebrews 10:19–22 NLT
And so, dear brothers and sisters, we can boldly enter heaven’s Most Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus. By his death, Jesus opened a new and life-giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place. And since we have a great High Priest who rules over God’s house, let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water.
Hebrews 10:19
This verse just makes me want to leap up in the air!
We have been given access to the throne!
We enter the throne without guilt because of the blood of Jesus!
We are clean and have been washed with pure water!
We don’t just access heaven we carry heaven inside of us.
Everywhere we go, we have the presence inside of us.

Whatever is in the Son is in you!

Hebrews 1:1–3 NLT
Long ago God spoke many times and in many ways to our ancestors through the prophets. And now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son. God promised everything to the Son as an inheritance, and through the Son he created the universe. The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven.
Hebrews 1:1-
Jesus radiates the glory of God and he expressed the very character of God.
To me this is like the what happened to Moses when he came out of the tabernacle after being with God. His face was so bright that the people asked him to cover His face.
That is in us!

Press In!

Romans 8:5 NLT
Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit.
What do you feed your mind with? How much time do you focus on spiritual matters?
How much time do we spend on the sinful nature?

Its time to Repent!

Repent means to change the way you think.
Repentance begins by admitting you are guilty, declaring the blood of Jesus over you for the forgiveness of our sins, and begin to renew your mind.
