Build Your House on the Rock
24 “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.
25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.
I came to the conclusion that it is in the name of Beatitudes where we find our answer.

10 “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
10 “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 “Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.
12 Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
11 “Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.
12 Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Verse 3. “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
and we tied those versus together, but we can see how this verse is also tied together with v. 11
We tied those versus together, but we can see how this verse 10 is also tied together with v. 11
But we tied those versus together, but we can see how this verse is also tied together with v. 11
10 “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 “12 Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
What are some ways that we can see v. 3, 10, and 11 are tied together?
They are all a reward for being brought down by the world or the enemy.

11 “Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.
Verse 11.
Is the last verse of the Beatitudes (Beatitudes could be described as how a Christians attitude should be.)
This is why I think that to get a proper foundation in Christianity, this was a good place to start.
Jesus could have put the Beatitudes in any order that He wanted.
What are some of the reasons that Jesus put this verse in the last of the list of the Beatitudes?
