Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. (Jewelry analogy. Good things come in small packages)

1. Cracked Pots Carrying Power

Treasure?
earthen vessels?-clay pots.
The power is of God and not us.
Abraham and Sarah...Moses had a speech problem but God…Gideon was inexperianced and unqualified...Rahab was called a harlot but God…Jonah was chicken but God
Harriet Tubman blacked out but she led slaves to freedom

2. Suffering Survivors

Surviving is a testimony in and of itself. Surviving is good news. and sometimes in certain circumstances surviving is the only good that may come out of a thing. But, if you survived there is always hope for more if not better life. Paul and his company here, but we all have felt the pressures of life the can attest to being “hard-pressed on every side”

3. Life-receiving and Life-giving

Paul wants us to know that there is a reason why he has be delivered to death for the sake of Jesus, it is because it makes the life of Jesus will show up in our life now. In our mortal bodies. And you don’t wan tot miss the excitement of these last two verses. He says “we are always delivered to death...” but notice that hes not dead while hes writing this. It is because whenever we are given over to those tough moments in our lives that the life giving savior is manifest in our bodies.
If I can help somebody as I pass along, If I can cheer somebody with a word or a song, If I can show somebody he is travelling wrong, Then my living shall not be in vain!
Then my living shall not be in vain, Then my living shall not be in vain! If I can help somebody as I pass along, Then my living shall not be in vain!
